Not very good for the $80US a night. No hot water for days! I went with a friend who booked the room. We spent 3 nights. There was at least 5 dead cockroaches on the floor and a dead cicadid. The back walkway light was shining in the window all night. I asked maintenance to turn it off. He didn't know where the switch was, said the hotel  is under renovation. Poor excuses.

A pesar de que los empleados son amables y serviciales y de que el hotel está en una muy buena ubicación, no volvería y tampoco recomendaría el lugar. Las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias pero carecen en todo lo demás. 
Hice una transferencia del pago completo, incluyendo el deposito de seguridad de la habitación, entregue el cuarto el domingo a las 9am y todavia lunes las 11am no se me había retornado el dinero; al preguntar la excusa que me dieron es 'durante el día se le deposita' - 
*Despues de pasarme el día insistiendo a que me dieran una respuesta, al fin hicieron la devolución a las 11:30 de la noche. 
En otra parte, el hotel cuenta con menú a la carta, al pedir cena nos dicen que 'tomará 1h completa porque el chef cocina para otra persona' - Encima de eso me dice el chef 'hay que salir a comprar espaguetis al colmado porque no hay' No entiendo como es que tienen un menú con comida específica pero no tienen todos los ingredientes disponibles y no es como que no saben la cantidad de personas que hay en el hotel porque tienen que llevar conteo para disponibilidad de habitación. 
La comida estuvo regular. 
Al momento de pago en efectivo, nos fijamos que nos cobraban 18% en vez de 10% (18% es itebis por pago con tarjeta y 10% es pago por propina) y encima del robo, me cobraban $200 por encima al precio total de factura y nadie supo decirme de que salió (el menú tiene los precios y por eso nos dimos cuenta). 
El desayunar, una compañera ordena sándwich de jamón y queso y le sirvieron uno que ya tenía rato cocinado (otro acompáñate es chef y nos explicó que era así por cómo se veía el jamón y el pan) 
Vaciaron la piscina del hotel sin comunicación a nosotros y nos vimos forzados a no hacer nada porque el mar estaba con mucha marea alta para bañarse. 
Es una pena que tanto potencial sea para absolutamente

Even though the staff is kind and willing to help, the hotel's location is good, I wouldn't visit the hotel again nor would
I recommend it. The rooms are somewhat comfortable and clean, but that is end of it. I paid the hotel room in full and the room security deposit via bank transfer, we checked out the room on Sunday at 9am and Monday at 11 I still have not received the reimbursement of the room security deposit. When asking about it, all they said was 'some time during the day you will have it' - Not only is this disrespectful but also unacceptable because besides paying in full, my money and time is no joke for them to take it as is. 
*After insisting on a logical answer, they finally did the reimbursement at 11:30pm 
The hotel has specific menu of meals one can order, while doing so, the chef told us 'you need to give me 1h because I'm cooking something else for another guest' - Because of the time we conceded, and right then the chef said directly to me 'I need to send someone to the supermarket because we don't have spaghetti' - A whole day later I'm trying to find reasoning as to why you have a specific menu but not all the ingredients at hand ? 
1h later, the food was eatable but not good
When the bill comes, my husband notices that they were charging us 18% instead of 10% 
(18% tax when paying with debit/ credit - 10% mandatory waitress tip) 
We were paying in cash !!!!!!
On top of that, they were charging us $200 out of nowhere. When I complained about it, they just did another bill for us to pay 
*We were able to calculate how much because the menu has the prices - we calculated after noticing the 18% charge 
The next day after checking out the room, we stayed for breakfast as it was included in the room price, food was also regularly eatable. However, my friend ordered a cheese ham sandwich; she was a given food that had already been prepared a while ago. This we know because my husband is a chef and explained this was the reason why the food look bad and like it was defrosted. 
We couldn't also go in the hotel pool because they decided to empty it with notice. 
I really hope I don't ever encounter a place like this again. 

HORRIBLE

We came to the restaurant on March 10, 2022.
The staff told us the chef would arrive one hour later. We accepted to wait… and when we asked about his arrival one hour thirty later, they told us the restaurant was closed.
I can understand… But instead of playing on their cellphones, the staff should take care of the clients!
We wanted to order a few nights there… No way!

We walked into this hotel and luckily booked a room with a fan. Room is decorated in vintage decor, but it is pleasant. Felt like I was staying in Grandma's guest house. Otherwise, room was clean and everything worked properly. Although, we had a fan, wish it was stronger as the nights were a bit humid. It helped to leave the front door open to let the breeze in. Stayed on the ground floor which was not too noisy. The fan worked as a noise machine and all slept like babies. Great views of the ocean and can't complain about amazing value!

LOVED how there was a small beach below the property with calming waves. Swam in the day and night with our 4 yr old. Great place for families to just chill and relax. Nice dip as well!

Owners are elderly from France. The woman is direct and ok to deal with.

Didn't order much from the resteraunt except a fruit plate which was fresh and delicious. 

Our family enjoyed staying here. It was quaint, local and refreshing. It is a few steps away from the Gri Gri Lagune which is also a fantastic place to view the mangroves.

Recomend to fellow backpackers! Would come back again!

Cozy, local and quaint place

Great value and amazing location. The rooms are dated but the view is breathtaking. There is a small restaurant on the beach where you can have delicious lobster :-)
It was a bit noisy in the evening bcs of loud music from the small bars.

I have been a regular guest at the Bahia Blanca for over 20 years...It is, quite simply, one of my favourite places in the world..It emanates an almost old world charm...It could have been built in the 1930s...Wonderful terraces...the best sunsets...friendly staff and owners...and, the beaches..One a small protected bay backing onto the Gri-Gri lagoon and heronry... The other long and lovely and tourist free...No glitz, just peace and lapping waves..

Unique setting...entre deux plages!

The hotel is old but the view is great, unfortunately the sea was brownish when we were there and we could not enjoy it. The breakfast is basic like the room. The balcony is always shared with the other customers

Nice view

Spent a week here over the Thanksgiving holidays last year - this is a GREAT value but the rooms do need a bit of attention - I didn't care I had a room on the corner with the most gorgeous views and the lapping of the water and the rolling waves was so very relaxing.  this town too is a little gem in itself.  Would DEF go back.

This place is a gem, the best thing about this place is the view and the beach right next to it. It is not fancy or cute at all. It needs a lot of work. But the employees do their job right. It doesn't have air conditioner and that the only reason why I would go back. It gets really hot in the third floor.
