Helsingør Bed and Breakfast

A really wonderful place to stay if you are in this part of Denmark as the rooms look straight out onto the water. Hosts are cheerful and accommodating; nothing is too much trouble; beds are extremely comfortable and delicious breakfast. Really well located for local sightseeing.

Grab yourself some food and wine and sit on the terrace facing Sweden and Helsingor Castle on the right. Despite the freezing cold and wearing everything warm we had the views with a bottle of red and the sunset were just what the doctor ordered. Magical! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room itself was small, practical, with a large bed and cosy shower room. We didn't use the kitchenette or fridge (to be honest we had no idea they were part of the room!). Also the owner was super friendly, speaking broken English with a just-understandable accent ;-) and excellent wifi.

We only stayed the one night as we had limited time, but we will go back and stay longer next time as the location is good just to sit and relax, go for a swim on the beach bordering the property. The owners did not speak good English but we got by . They were so friendly and went out of their way to take us to town when we could have used the bus so we had maximum use of our short time there. They also took us and our bags to town the next day to catch the boat . Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

This Bed and Breakfast offers only a Bed and no Breakfast. I wonder why they call themself a B&B...it is a misleading information....when I asked Klaus, I guess the owner (who speaks a very bad english) about the breakfast, he said "I don't have time for this....you can go to the Danhostel, which is a few meters from here., they serve breakfast from 8 to 9am for 60Kr...".... Wow I was not expecting that answer....well I did book at the Helsingor B&B and not the Danshotel?! 
The B&B is not easy to access from the Helsingør station by public transports. There is a local train that stops near the B&B but only once an hour, otherwise you can stop at another station (15mn walk) twice an hour. 
The room is enough spacious and includes a kitchenette with a small fridge. The B&B is located on the beach with a direct view on the Kronborg and the Swedish coasts.
