Lovely hotel with everything you require for a business stay. Room was on the top floor which isn’t great if you have much luggage but as I was only there for one night didn’t pose a problem. Hotel is situated on lovely grounds and it was nice to see locals walking their dogs the next day. There is not much situated around This hotel but a nice Italian restaurant close by. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of hot and cold selections. Would recommend and not hesitate to stay again

5day stay for business. Great room with view to the “castle”. More than excellent breakfast. Great view to the gardens. We really really enjoyed our stay here. I Will definetely miss this breakfast for the rest of my life.
Next time I Will surely book this hotel again.

Best breakfast, very Nice breakfast lady

I love my stays here, great welcome spectacular building and an indulgent breakfast. If your lucky with the weather and can have breakfast outside then even better. Get up early and go for a run or walk around the grounds.  Rooms are Scandinavian basic but have comfy beds and good towels. Plenty of parking.

Once again a very positive experience.
 - nice merting facilities and soroundings
 - very positive an focused service
 - good accomodation
 - very good food in the very nice restaurant
 - well functioning technical equipment and facilitation supplies 
And then even at a good price

Team event (Business)

As location is this a nice place, a bit hidden but it is a castle with huge park area to use along with the public as recreation.
But, their hotel room offering was far below my expectations. My room was located at a building opposite of the castle, like most of the rooms. The room itself was well used and bathroom in the lower end of the quality scale. Their reception are closed from 8pm in weekdays, and no services like vending machine or bar was to use from my knowledge.
Check out time is 9am on weekdays. Need to iron? Well, they have a solution but not a preferred one....
My stay ended with only cold water, so the morning shower became a bit too refreshing of my taste( not the hotel’s fault, since there was externally closed due to services on the pipes).
Will I go back, no. Maybe only for running in their park area.

Nice as location, not as a preferred hotel

Firstly we paid around £100 a room,  I booked for myself and a colleague. 
The main building made me think this could be something special,  however I was sent to another building which was just down the drive nearer the entrance.   It did give me chance to take another look at the beautiful setting the hotel sat within.
On entrance to the other building some building work was underway,    so i am sure if you visit it will look nice and clean.    The rooms were small and basic..  Tea and coffee facility available but in paper cups (annoying).
The room was clean and comfortable,   and was fit for purpose.     The staff were helpful and the breakfast the next morning (in the main building) was very nice.

Overall my experience was of a nice hotel with basic facilities and good value for money.

Less than I expected,  but OK.

Immaculate with tea garden House in parterre garden, equestrian event area, hotel in the converted stables, the main palace has great Sunday brunch but you must book well in advance. Great place to walk in the gardens , they have a sectioned garden with different varieties of  apple trees, another with pear trees, another showing methods of espalliered  fruit trees. A long glassed wall with cherry blossom inside- (spring flowering)

The building is 250 years old and with royal history. Today, a hotel and a restaurant, often organizing commercial events. The best part is its location, in a beautiful Bernstorff Park. To get there one can either walk from Gentofte Station (approx.1.5km) through the park or  take a bus 185 from Nørreport Station.
