Stayed here six nights in a bedroom with our own kitchen and balcony across the hallway- not a problem for us that they were not connected. The location is up a steep hill from the main road and small supermarket, but good exercise. As a result, the view from our balcony was FANTASTIC and we ate all our meals out there. There is a bus stop at the main road going to Cavtat or Dubrovnik and in the summer, boats from the harbour at Mlini ( 20 min walk max) to the same places plus the Elaphite islands. We didn't feel we needed a car and got an uber taxi when we left from the main road to the airport. 
There is a larger supermarket, Konzum, a little bit further to walk than the one down the hill( which had very competitive prices). Lots of restaurants in Mlini and Srebeno by the waterside- reasonably priced too. Nice walks in either direction. 
On arrival, the owner brought us juice and biscuits and was always friendly- she loved her garden which is full of pretty plants- on our balcony too. Her son was in email contact with us and happy to arrange trips etc. 
We loved staying here and in this peaceful area.

Lovely budget accommodation

We chose the cheapest option of a double room with balcony and private bathroom; we were there 9 nights and perfectly comfortable.
The balcony afforded the most glorious view over the bay, and was solid and roomy enough to sit out for hours, in good chairs (not flimsy plastic like some places).
There was a full-size fridge in the room, and an assortment of plates and cutlery sufficient for breakfast and the odd snack; and a kettle.  We didn't use the TV or air-conditioning.
The bed was comfortable (both of us have bad backs so we were glad of this) and there was plenty of storage space.
We were provided with a key for the private bathroom which was across the landing, not ensuite, and it included a washing machine, very powerful shower and bathroom cabinet with hairdryer.
The property managers were delightful, although Mr and Mrs had virtually no English.  We managed to communicate ok.  Their adult son has very good English and is present to orient new guests. They were all kind and helpful throughout, and offered us cold juice on arrival (which was really welcome!) and periodically brought us bunches of grapes grown on the vines below our balcony.
Location-wise, I would not recommend this property (or Croatia actually) for anyone who cannot manage hills or steps, or requires walking aids.  The property is a stiff 5 minute climb from the bus stop and shop, and a further 5 minutes from the beach front, bars and restaurants.  If you hired a car, driving up to the property would also be a bit hairy.
All that said, we felt we were perfectly located for our needs.  The shop below sold all we needed, though Konsum at Kupari (15/20 minutes level walk or one bus-stop away) was inevitably cheaper.
Nearby bars and restaurants, all a short walk away from the bottom of the hill, were all excellent.  The walk down to the road is through winding residential steps, very pleasant.  The whole area is clean, well-kept and very pretty.
Thoroughly recommend.

Ideal for an affordable and relaxing break

We had a great stay it was clean and friendly. Bed a bit uncomfortable but we were up and out early so it didn't matter. We made our own way from airport by taxi and he dropped us off nowhere near apartments and charged a fortune. Email the owner and he will arrange a taxi pick up at a good price. Owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. We are thinking of going back next year
