Lovely apartment, spotless and has everything you need, including dishwasher tablets, tea towels, salt and pepper, washing up liquid. A very welcoming and friendly family who encouraged us to pick their tomatoes and cucumbers.  They also provided a bottle of wine in the apartment and came round with homemade cakes! Access to the beach is down a shaded path and quite a lot of steps which is fine if you are OK with that sort of thing.

The most lovely apartment in delightful scenery. But what made our holiday were our hosts-Anton, Kate, Nina and Pero. Nothing was too much to ask. From driving us to the supermarket, and everyday providing us with something different from their garden-tomatoes, beetroot,grapes, sardines, fish pate, baked apples etc etc . These are the loveliest hosts we have ever come across. They even arranged a free ride back to the airport. Just amazing! If you want to stay near Dubrovnik, stay here!

Spent 5 nights at the apartments and had a relaxing break. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming.We had wine and essentials left on arrival and were given cake and fruit daily.A lovely quiet setting 10 minutes from Dubrovnik’s crowds.We had the pool area to ourself most of the time and we were only 10 minutes walking from the local Mlini beach.The apartment was spotless and had all the essentials, pool towels were provided and the hosts could not be more helpful.Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

I stayed here with my girlfreind and 2 year old daughter in June 2018.

I cannot give enought praise to the owners and how wonderfully welcoming, friendly and kind they were. They could not do enough for us, in a completely unobtrusive type of way. The owner took us in his car to get some shopping and offered to do so again later in the week! The owner's son-in-law also took me in his car to get some local currency at a cashpoint. They were very friendly and gave us lots of good advice on where to go and how to get around. We were given fresh fruite and vegetables most days, we just couldn't keep up with eating it! Generally, the whole family were the loveliest hosts we ever could have hoped for.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a holiday apartment. There was air conditioning in the living room, much needed for a very hot time of the year. There are swings and a slide for the children, my daughter loved this! 

The grounds are really well kept. The propery has large gardens, growing fruit and vegetables and the owners take a lot of care and time to tend to this. The pool area is immaculate, with a heated pool, lots of sun loungers and parasols. There is even an undercover barbeque area, with a gas barbeque, sink and drinks fridge. The owners have put a lot of effort into thinking about what their guests need and providing a good experience.

For families with pushchairs, the beach is best reached by walking down to the nearby Hotel Astarea and using their lift.

Dubrovnik is about a 30 minute bus ride. In the other direction Cavtat is well worth visiting. There are lots of nice bars are restaurants in Cavtat. Don't make the same mistake we did, in getting off the bus and walking all around the penisular to find the area with the bars and restaurants - it is actually a 30 second walk from the bus stop in the other direction!

I highly recommend Apartments Tabain and thank the owners for making our stay really memorable.
