Lovely place! Like entering paradise as you walk inl. Beautiful gardens and setting on the river. Was a bit alarmed when I realised it was virtually on the runway but that added to it’s quirkiness as you could walk over to the back of the property, walk across the runway, and go to the beach, and no noise generated by this. The Willis’s were very helpful and personable. Nice pool area, but cabins on the basic (but comfortable) side, so if you are looking for uber chic this would not be for you. They organised a canoe tour for us which was fantastic and we saw so much wildlife! Really enjoyed our time in Tortuguero!, would highly recommend!
