Numu Cabinas

My wife and I just returned from a week-long stay at Numu and we had a fantastic time! The Cabinas are in a great location - very close to the beach and all holiday activities. Gustavo was our host and showed us around the facility after checking us in. Our cabina was large, clean, and right next to the pool. It had lots of storage space with wide doorways and a big overhead shower. The air conditioner and TV both worked very well. Our cabina was also disabled-friendly - there is a ramp up to the front door and the shower can easily accommodate a large chair, if needed. Numu’s corner location also includes a number of locally-owned businesses, including a supermarket and a bakery, all just across the street. Gustavo knew all the owners, and helped us get to know the area very well. Being high season, the street corner can be busy with traffic and road noise, however it died-down considerably after 9PM. We felt very safe - especially at night as the Numu staff locked the gate promptly after the restaurant closed. Parking is right in front of the restaurant, and inside the gate - again, very convenient! Some things to consider - WIFI can be spotty at times, but this is not unique to Numu. It’s better at night. Also, don’t expect water pressure to be like your local Fire Department at home. Guanacaste is a dry forest area and this is the dry and windy season. I would like to thank Gustavo and the entire Numu staff for a very pleasant and authentic “Tico Visit”. We highly-recommend Numu Cabinas and will definitely be back to stay again.
