13 reviewsThe house is situated in the very quaint town of Pueblo Tapao, away from the buzz of the nearby city. We were received at the airport by Mario, the owner, who picked us up for a fraction of the cost of what a taxi would have charged us. When we got to his house were were greeted by his parents, who were very amiable and caring people. From the first day that we set foot in the house, and everyday thereafter, we were greeted with a smile and a fresh cup of brewed coffee. They serve a great breakfast (not complementary, but the price is reasonable) that was homemade and accompanied with some hot chocolate and arepa -- definitely worth it! Our room was just right, it included a personal bathroom, fresh towels, television and also room service during our entire stay. The host also helped us with directions, places to eat, things to do and see. The house is very clean, well kept, and the area is safe. I 100% recommend it! P.S. You can also get to nearby places easily and inexpensively such as: Parque del Cafe, Salento, Cocora Valley, and Armenia.
