34 reviewsMy friends and I stayed with Marie on our last night visiting the Malbec wine regions of Argentina and Chile. El Magnolio was the perfect finish to our trip. Set in the peaceful countryside of Pirque, at the foot of the Andes Mountains it was a beautiful location to just relax with friends and a bottle of wine. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and clean. The common areas in the house were very comfortable, including a large outdoor deck area with a view of a small pond and the Andes. Marie was a fantastic hostess. She provided us with water and coffee when we arrived, booked dinner for us at a local restaurant, and ensured that we had everything we needed to be completely comfortable. In the morning we were spoiled with a huge breakfast of fresh baked breads, local made jams, eggs, fresh fruit she had grown herself, and a selection of yogurts and cereals. Before we checked out she gave us directions to everything we wanted to see in Santiago, and called for us to make reservations for dinner in Santiago. Incredible service, and she is such a wonderful and friendly lady. I would love to go back and stay with her again!!
