we go to stratford every year in the summer to see musical plays, and we had always stayed at woodmont for the last 10 years. they have a very unique breakfast board menu, and it changes every day. they make the best scones everyday. they are within walking distance from the 2 big theaters, as well as the main town, and the Avon river.

home away from home

Randi and David are excellent hosts who take great care to make your stay perfect. Their dogs add a homey and peaceful quality to the surroundings. The breakfasts made a wonderful tasty start to the day with a variety of choices that are homemade with the freshest ingredients. I will be staying again this Sept.

We had a great time at the Woodmont Guest House. 

We arrived on Saturday and were greeted right away. There was a note on the door for us as well in case we arrived when they weren't home. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate space to put away our clothing (I wanted to hang my dress and my husband's suit for the play were were seeing that evening). We went for a walk to scope out a place for dinner and it was an easy walk downtown, we took the scenic route along the river but there is a more direct route along the main road. 

The main house was beautifully decorate with lots of interesting items from shakespear and other stratford festival plays. 

We made reservations at a restaurant, had a coffee and snack, then returned to the room to get changed for dinner. 
Breakfast the next morning was so good. Not your usual "eggs and bacon" meal. We had the choice of 3 great choice, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, apple and cheese omelette and a homemade granola. The homemade scones were also offered to start along with a fruit salad and fresh coffee. It was amazing!

Lovely little guest house

Loved our stay here! Perfect location for restaurants and shows. Hosts were so friendly and helpful and breakfast was great. Would stay here again! Our room was really comfortable. Randi and David were perfect hosts and we loved their dogs too!

Very welcoming!

Woodmont Guest House is excellently located. The host were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.  They served an excellent breakfast.  All our needs were anticipated including a mini refrigerator for food and well appointed bathrooms.  I highly recomment this charming bed and breakfast.
