When I book through Expediafor 5 people I made my reservation with breakfast included, when we get to the hotel the admin told us that there was breakfast included only for one person! Whichbis ridiculous.... There was pool in the hotel but they charge about $15.00 each to access... is the only hotel that does this type of things, coffe at the lobby at $1.25.Poor cleanning, no AC in the room we are not coming back, not recommended 👎

I had accidentally booked a second room because I could not locate my initial reservation. After recovering within 5 mins of making the reservation I trued to contact to the hotel direction via phone and email. I reached out to Expedia to help out. They also tried to reach out on my behalf to cancel my 2nd reservation and refund me. Simply human error. I finally spoke with someone who said they would cancel it. The next day at my checkout I was told they would still charge me for the second room even when they had rented it to other guests. Poor business etiquette. They proceeded to blame Expedia, Expedia said they refused the reimbursement. No potable water at the hotel, offering one small bottle water for they stay. Will not go back.

Beautiful location.  Reduced staff, but very accommodating.  We booked River view suite and changed to a ground floor unit upon arrival as there are no elevator to the second floor.  My daughter has a power wheelchair.  The room are not adapted, but we were able to access the room which was fine for us.

Family week-end

Booked a superior room with river view! The view was fantastic and did not disappoint. The older, vintage feel to the motel was actually a plus in our books. The beds were decent too. Where this motel falls short was overall condition, cleanliness and service. Mold was seeping through the bathroom ceiling and bath tiles were in disrepair. Though our linens were clean, the chairs had crumbs and were old and used. The tables had not been sanitized and windows were a bit grimy. The cleaning staff seemed overworked as our room was ready only by 6 pm +. In these Covid times, management should prioritize thorough sanitation in rooms. There was no service to our room on the 2nd night of our stay (no replenishment of coffee or quick tidying up). For a $259 price tag, we think this motel fell short. I hope the owners will “up their game”, take care of this motel that has lots of potential and duly repair and maintain it! If they do, I could see people really enjoying the place and coming back. Oh yeah… the pool area is really far and nothing spectacular. An investment in a nice pool area would be great for families with kids.

In need of TLC… not up to snuff

Terrific location, very convenient. It is an older but well maintained property with very friendly and efficient staff.

Not really " hotel" but more like cheap motel that cost $275 per night!Facility not well maintained or cared for. Pool closes early, open late.Beds and room furniture dated and not suitable. Bath tub was basic, like students dorms, with curtain that doesn't even reach the skirt, hence floor was soaked after each use.Rooms bye the pool are very noisy. To go get ice at main area, need to climb 120 thick stairs which was challenge on its own.Water in rooms are not clean for drinking!Really entire experience was just not fitting the price we paid or experience you expect at this price point. Truth is even at $100 a night I would not go back( we left after one night!)

It’s just so so. When we arrived the hotel, the reception told us our reservation was unavailable . I was surprised to hear that and had to upgrade our room and spent 100$ more to get a room. I was not satisfied with it. I never had this kind of problem with expedia before. I hope that expedia would give us an explanation and refund the money for upgrade our room. The view of this hotel is very good but the service is not good. Nobody cleaned our room even we hung a card with ‘ please clean our room ´ outside our door because we lived 2 nights there. The staff did not know the schedule  of the swim pool when we asked him while he was cleaning the room besides the pool. The smell of the sand is not good around the pool.

The property itself is very nice and well located. The view from the property is also very nice. The room was of good size, beds were acceptable, overall clean, but no AC. The pool area is well maintained and a nice amenity. The staff however, was not on-point. It seemed like they were new in business and felt very lost. The restaurant was terrible and the service beyond terrible. Don’t waste your time and go dine somewhere else, there are plenty of good places on the island.For me, service is very important so I don’t  think i will come back to this place. The place has great potential so too bad the service isn’t.

The advertised amenities were a nice touch but not exactly as advertised. The heated saltwater pool was simply a pool with very cold water. The tennis court was virtually unusable. The on-site restaurant was grossly overpriced and quality of food was atrocious. The room was missing toilet paper, the shower and toilet only functioned intermittently. Staff were responsive to calls inquiring about these issues though and the rooms were located very close to the shore of the river which was nice.

It was too expensive for the quality of the place. Room too small. Everything was old. Bathroom didn't work well. Check in took 30 minutes because they take too long to find reservation. I took the phone to call reception to fix a problem in bathroom and the phone was full of dust. Cleaning was not good. That room should cost half of the price they charge to be worth. The only good thing was the location. Location was very good.
