I did not want to write this review, but I feel I have no choice. 
This is a basic inn. It is clean, which is important, but the bed was very very uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok. It was in the mini fridge the day before. Boiled eggs, pate, some cold meats, and some small pastries. The problem: We could not sleep. The bed was painfully hard and if you move even a little to change position, it makes so much noise that you wake up your partner. 
Our room was beside the kitchen and smelled strongly of food. 
After a sleepless night, we decided to leave early. We booked and paid for 2 nights and were promised a refund for the second night. The owner told us she would process it that afternoon. My mistake was trusting her. It has been 2 weeks so far and they have not replied to repeated emails. They have completely ignored us and stolen our money. We would have endured another night and eaten another breakfast that we had paid for if we had known this would happen. I am very frustrated. They owe us $180 plus taxes.

Good food. No e server. Fun atmosphere. After we put our order in it took forever for the food to come. 

 Club sandwich was pretty good. Smoked meat plugins and pulled pork plugins was good. Classic burger was good. 

Nice atmosphere

It is very quaint ,we had room number 8 it has it's own terrace overlooking the St Laurence river amazing !!
The owner Stéphanie  is also the chef and her skills are above  average  .All the dishes are prepared  with great care ,so yummy and beautifully presented. Very clean,nice bedding ,comfortable mattress,and a full size mini fridge .🙂
Ah yes there is an ice-cream bar ,Stéphanie makes the ice cream herself ,just to die for .🙂

Super séjour  🙂🙂

We spent one night at this motel-like Auberge, on the second floor as the main is a restaurant/bar. The room was very clean. The decor was warm with knotty pine style furniture. Comfortable bed. Little storage space with a small sink in the room, outside the bathroom. Stephanie registered us and was very friendly and accommodating. A very good, full breakfast was included in the price. Parking was free, right in front of the Auberge. The terrasse has a great view of the river and at night was beautifully lit and the bar service was great.

Small but comfortable room with great hosts...

I was looking for a nice place to stay on the Ile d'Orleans and found this gem of a small inn.  Our room (like all but one) was upstairs and there is no elevator.  Nor is there air conditioning.  That said, the beds were comfortable and everything was clean and nice.  The location was great (right on Chemin Royal) but in a nice quiet area.
We did not eat supper there (we were looking for something a bit more fancy) but breakfast as great.

Great room and hospitality. The owner/host, Xavier went over and above to take care of us. We had a great supper on the terrace and the included breakfast was superb. Thanks Xavier. Mary and Bill K., Montréal 

Overnight getaway

If you are visiting Quebec City, you cannot go without a visit to Ile d' Orleans, and after a tour of the island, not stop in for something to eat at Auberge au Ponte de Traite. We were doing a tour of Ile d 'Orleans, and with supper time approaching, stopped in here based on someone's recommendation. Auberge is a French word for inn and it can also mean restaurant, as these two are usually associated with one another. Auberge au Ponte de Traite is just that, we were just here for a meal, but this quaint, ideally located inn would be an ideal place to spend a night or two while visiting the area. 
There is much to choose from on their menu. You can order an entree from 5$ to 12$, on up to main meals like burgers, pastas, poutines and gourmet meals like bison flank,  seal steak, and beef entrecôte, ranging in price from 13$ to 34$. We just went with the more moderate priced menu items, cheese burger, 13$, you could substitute the fries for poutine for an additional 6$ and a linguini dish with homemade meat sauce, vegetables and herbs for 15$. This moderately priced meal was both ample and delicious. Our server was both efficient and very pleasant. We chose to sit out on their veranda which offered us excellent views of the south channel of the St. Lawrence and the north shore. The weather was great and putting everything together, you couldn't have wished for anything more! The outdoor seating space is ample and pleasant, but if the weather doesn't cooperate, you can also choose to seat in the comfortable, "outdoor themed" inside.We didn't see a breakfast menu, but as this an inn, I guess that they also serve breakfast. 
Our accommodations where we were staying were more than adequate, but I think maybe next time, we will choose to stay at this auberge. The location is very central, you are close to the Pont de I'Ile and therefore close to Quebec, and the Ile d'Orleans is such a lovely, peaceful place to return to after your tour of the area.
P.S. Something about the "Island".
Ile d' Orleans is located about 5 km. east of Quebec in the middle of the St. Lawrence River. It is 34 km. long by 8 km. wide and route 368 (Chemin Royal)  circles the island. It seems that the addresses that you follow are tied to this road, so be sure to pick up a tourist map. There are numerous BnBs, auberges, restaurants featuring regional cuisine, fruit stands, craft and art shops, as well as buildings and areas of historic interest. Ile d'Orleans was one of the first parts of the province to be colonized by the French, and as such, a large percentage of French Canadians can trace their ancestry back to the islands early residents! Indeed, this is in essence, the birthplace of the Francophone in North America. The explorer, Jacque Cartier, first set foot here in !535. There are more than 600 buildings recognized as heritage properties and the entire island was designated a Nat'l historic site of Canada in 1990. The island is a microcosm of traditional Quebec!
Ile d'Orleans is known as the Garden of Quebec. It is essentially rural and is famous for its produce such as strawberries, apples and potatoes. There is also the production of wine and maple syrup. It is a truly wonderful place and it makes me proud as a Canadian to be associated with it. One more item, is that the island was where the first cheeses in N.A. were produced, one is La Faiselle. You can sample and purchase them a roadside shop called "Les Fromages de L'Ile d'Orleans", 2950 Chemin Royal, not so far from Auberge au Ponte de Traite (2287 Chemin Royal). These and other cheeses are made on the premises. 
I must say for a Western Canadian, our visit to this island and to this part of Canada was truly great! Thanks!

"Sample the local cuisine"!

This inn represents almost indecently good value in summer with clean bright wooden floored rooms on offer for $107 Canadian a night which includes a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, fresh croissant and home made jams. The service is excellent. Sound does carry though in this wooden building so if like me you are a super light sleeper it might be a good idea to pack earplugs. 

Excellent value in overlooking the St Lawrence 

This was a really tasty restaurant, easy to find - take a left turn off the bridge (2287, chemin Royal, Sainte-Famille-de-l’Île-d’Orléans).  It’s attached to a hostel-style accommodation, which looked really nice and welcoming from the outside.

Lunch was delicious and relaxing on the terrace in the back facing the river and beautiful natural surroundings.  The bison sausage and traditional poutine were delicious.

Restaurant with a beautiful view

This quaint little hotel was perfect for one night at Ile d’orleans. The room was knotty pine decor with an antique wash basin in the room. There was a full toilet & shower/tub in the separate bathroom. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. 

We ate at the restaurant enjoying local fair such as poutine with island cheese and fresh strawberries and cream. There were also unique choices like duck, bison, wild boar and red deer sausage. 

 Breakfast was included but we wanted to hit the road early so we didn’t stay. Xavier very kindly gave us all we needed to make coffee in our room for the morning. 

The staff were all very friendly, spoke English and accommodated our every need.
