The staff made this place. Perfect English so no misunderstanding.
They were so friendly, anything they could do for you they did it. 
Yes it has a great pool area, breakfast was a reasonable price and a good feed, the hotel is away from the noise of the city.
Beds weren’t as hard as some we’ve had to sleep on in the same town. 
The hotel is just up the street from the art markets and just over the walk bridge from town. Plenty of local eatery’s and 7/11 near by.

The staff made you so welcome

I wouldn't recommend staying here. The only positive about this place is the pool, which you can find at majority of hotels here.  

When we checked in, we noticed a smell in our room. It wasn't hard to find the source being black mold beginning to grow in our closet. After approaching the front desk, they said they had no other room available when we have seen little only a few guests walking around.

The front desk also gave my sandals to someone else. You have to keep your shoes/sandals in front of the door before everything the hotel. Another resident, who lost there shoes, approached the front desk asking to borrow sandals thus the reception thought it was a good idea to give them any shoes in front of the door.  

This place gets 2 stars because they cleaned their pool. That's it.

Black mold and gave my shoes away

stayed here for 4 days and intended to stay longer until I was given one hour to leave so they could boost the price of my room up to make way for package tourists not impressed seems to be little communication between management and front desk front desk staff male asking for tips for poor service I do not like and also security personnel sleeping and front gates wide open so no security the room I had was eventually ok after I moved out of the first one with no fridge cleaning staff friendly as are the staff in the restaurant

I stayed here for 2 night and really enjoyed it. Beautiful clean room with balcony cable tv and WiFi that actually works good. The staff were very friendly also. It's close to everything so you can walk to pub street and the markets. I got a lot more than I expected for such a reasonable price. 

Excellent 

We stayed here for one week and had a lovely stay. We didn't leave the hotel much because I was sick. The accommodation is very cheap but the staff is lovely. They include a very good breakfast in the price. Never went in the pool because one guest cautioned that it was very dirty. The staff arranged our tuk tuk to the temples and were always accommodating. Their on site hotel is delicious and affordable. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice cheap stay in Siem Reap.
