I know other reviewers have already said this, but iRoha Gardens is truly a tranquil oasis in central Phnom Penh. Set in a lush tropical garden, it is hard to believe there is a bustling city beyond the walls. The staff were exceptional, so welcoming, warm, kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Ben explained the Grab app so I was able to catch tuk tuks with ease. My friend was unwell and the manager, Theara, went above and beyond, arranging a car and accompanying her to the hospital, where she stayed with her and translated. We were so grateful for Theara’s kindness. We had a lovely and very comfortable room overlooking the gardens and woke to bird song each morning. Fabulous pool too – great to cool off after a morning exploring. I also had a traditional Cambodian massage on site – the best massage I’ve ever had! I highly recommend iRoha Gardens, especially for people looking for an alternative to impersonal hotels. Here, each time you returned to the hotel, you were welcomed home by the friendly staff.
