We stayed 2 nights in a private room. The location is pretty good and the staff is very friendly. Room was okay, however could be a lot cleaner, the water went one morning and electricity kept going. Overall acceptable for the price we paid.

Average accommodation 

The hotel is near Boung Chouk fruit market. The room cleanliness is just average,we had to request for change with smelly room and nonsmoking. The bathroom is ok, good for just short stay. Air conditioner was malfunctioned and windows were not good for ventilation. 

Cheap for price we paid

I gave this guest house 2 out of 5 because it's so cheap what can you expect for that price? So I'll start with the good points (won't take long) the bed was comfortable, the staff are friendly & it's very close to 2 really good vegetarian restaurants. Now for the bad - the area is awful. The rooms are above a mechanics so it is so loud all the time. Just outside seems to be a place people hang out so there's shouting & screaming outside all night. We were on the 3rd floor I can't imagine how loud it would be lower down. They put us in a room with a broken shower & a sink with no water despite there being rooms with fully working bathrooms, however, they were happy for us to change rooms when we asked-that caused its own problem at checkout though as they tried to make us pay even though we'd already paid online. We had a fan room, it was far too hot. But I wouldn't recommend paying for AC because for that price you can book a decent place to stay. Our room was never cleaned. 1 towel provided for 2 people. You can walk to the centre in 15 mins but the centre isn't great - the best area is near Here Be Dragons hostel. FYI if you're going to Battambang for the bamboo train it has closed down. So in summary only stay here if you absolutely require the cheapest private room & you don't care about anything else I have mentioned 

So cheap but pretty terrible 

Went there for 2 nights but stayed only 1 before going elsewhere. I don't mind basic at all but the bathroom was a bit too basic for the price as you can get better for similar price at the Asia Hotel nearby or for a few dollars more the Royal hotel(which is lovely) in the town centre. My opinion is you'd enjoy your stay better at the Asia hotel or Royal hotel, both of which I've stayed at too. 



Wouldn't recommend 

If you actually expect to get sleep at  night don't go here..... In two nights I couldn't sleep at all! So noisy from the road and long term guests! Bathroom was dirty! Shower head was disgusting. WiFi was not good! OK you just pay 5€ a night but still.... Go and pay a few more dollars and get somewhere else to stay!
