Large, clean, warm rooms, everything perfectly functional, daily cleaning, friendly staff, good and sufficient food. Large beds, mattresses with medium firmness, pillows as well. A place for smokers could also be set up, like a small club where 6-10 friends can gather for board games (cards, backgammon, rummy, aso.)

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel in room 202 for 5 nights for the 5 days they cleaned and changed our towels only once and if we didn't complain maybe they wouldn't never enter the room us.
A lot of noise with very loud music from the hotel restaurant they organize parties until one o'clock in the morning and they don't care about their hotel customers I didn't sleep at all I complained but they didn't give us any importance from the reception they told us to be patient.
Bathroom siphons give off very unpleasant smells and the air ducts bring into our room a lot of cigarette smells from other smoking rooms with the result that we cannot sleep.
They say they have parking but they don't have anything in front of the road they have 3 positions and you must be very lucky otherwise you'll go around all the way around to find something I turn to all the roads.
There are no sockets next to the bed at all.
We do not recommend this hotel there are many better hotels that respect their customers.

Very bad hotel

Our review is a bit late - but better late than never as they say. We visited Veliko Tarnovo over the holidays and spent NYE weekend with friends and family at this amazing boutique hotel. The location of the property was very convenient, and the views were absolutely gorgeous ( rooftop restaurant/venue where breakfast was served is a must ). The hotel is very quiet, tucked away from the bustling streets - but yet very close to all main tourist attractions. The rooms were exceptionally well appointed, comfortable, well equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, and then some - beds were very comfy and the rooms were very clean (the hotel was very clean and well maintained). The interior design and furnishings overall were very trendy. Lovely lighting throughout the hotel. Customer service from check-in to check-out was top notch - staff speaks multiple languages, which is not very common for hotels in Bulgaria. The food was also fantastic, and you can tell the chef and his entire team take pride at what they do. The entire stay was perfect in every possible way and we will definitely stay again.  10/10!!!

Amazing NYE weekend at Hotel Concorde

Location is not the best for tourist, but it’s not bad either. You can park the car on street in front of the hotel. 
Shower in the bath. A/C quite ineffective. 
Dinner was included in the price, and it was good.

Good for a day

Although the public areas were modern and well decorated and the reception staff were very friendly, that's where the good things about this hotel end. 
We had booked a VIP luxury room (not cheap) and a balcony with "city view" which was a joke! See picture. It's also a Juliette balcony so you couldn't sit out although with that view it wasnt a problem because we wouldn't have done anyway.

The room although large and spacious, had a strong damp and musty smell, so bad that we had to leave the "balcony" doors open all night. Wall paper was torn and peeling, the furniture was old, damaged and tired,  the bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were thin and lumpy.  

The spa bath didn't work, there was black mould around the bath, the bath panel was broken on one end and the sink had a big crack in it.

We thought we'd try the roof terrace sky bar before we went to eat but it was closed, when we enquired about opening times we were told that it was only open in the morning for breakfast! The bar/restaurant on the ground floor was in darkness at 9.30pm after we returned from a walk in the city.

Breakfast was average but spoiled by the woman from the kitchen refilling the meats, cheeses etc with her fingers while there was a notice up (with plastic gloves) asking people to wear the gloves while they used the servers to avoid contamination. 
We don't like to give negative reviews and always look for the good points wherever we stay but, all in all not a good experience, won't be staying here again and glad we had only booked for one night.

Extremely disappointing

Pros:
- the location near all the main attractions;
- the breakfast was good and the restaurant is nice located on the last floor;
- the staff was nice and helpful;

Cons:
- they could pay a bit more attention to the cleaning, I saw some spots of dirt on the chairs also in the back of the nightstands was some food dropped there by other clients and also in the bathroom were spots on the floor and some rust on the radiator;
- the TV is really small.

Good value for money

small quite and best place hotel.there is free parking in the street next to the hotel.very good breakfast and friendly staff. the bed is good but little low.the price is fare and it is close to the center and the old city.

good and quiet hotel

Close to the town within walking distance. The hotel is perfectly alright nothing special apart from the grey "shag-pile" carpet which continued up the wall instead of a skirting board. The room I had was clean and the bathroom facilities worked. For a short stay this hotel is fine.

An average hotel for a short stay

How should I start? I remember this hotel as it looked 6 years ago but now I can’t even describe how dirty it is. The restaurant and the rooftop bar are not open, the room has a very bad smell, the toilet water sounds like running all the time. The hotel is full of mold. We have the breakfast included in the price, but we are afraid to eat here. This is not a three stars hotel. Even one star is too much.

Terrible hotel

My outstanding memory of this hotel is the thin mattress on the bed covered with an unironed, Ill-fitting "fitted" sheet.Not the best nights sleep.
Otherwise the room was unexceptional as was breakfast.
