We stayed 2 nights in this lovely hotel.  Our room and breakfast area overlooked an outdoor pool and natural surroundings. The room was clean spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had enough room to spread things out with a large window for ventilation. The breakfast was a very good selection of hot and cold options.

Paradise in Paraty

Stayed at this hotel as part of our g adventures tour. 

Room was comfortable, spacious. Nice bathroom with big shower! Air con available. 

Old vent needs to be sealed up properly rather than cardboard to stop bugs entering.

Staff were accommodating. 

Ample buffet breakfast selection.
WiFi good most of the time.

A good 30 min walk from the old historic centre. 10 min taxi.

Not a bad stay, 30 min walk from historic centre

Small hotel but very clean and friendly. Location is just off the main road and a nice walk to the old part of town. Rooms were clean and bright and also a good size although bathroom was a little on the small side. Family run hotel and staff were very friendly and had no problem with you bringing in outside snacks or drinks to enjoy by the pool. Breakfast is also served around the pool area in true South American style with lots of cake ! of course there were other choices.

Small Quaint Hotel

This is a lovely B&B style hotel. The rooms are arranged around the pool over two floors. The rooms themselves are large and have a historical charm . The bathroom is also quite large. Breakfast was nice around the pool. Walk to town was about 15 minutes but easy to navigate, walk straight up the the main road and keep walking until you reach old town. There is a supermarket a few minutes away on the the same road, if you don't want to walk that far there a couple of service stations were you can buy food and drinks at the end of the street

Lovely small hotel

I’ve enjoyed my stayed at Laguna Blue posada, room clean and good service, breakfast good also. 
However I didn’t know you are not allowed to drink water from the sink so any water you may need, you will be charged, also if you need towels for the beach, please consider.
Location is good also, you might have to walk about 1km to get into the town, but it’s a safe walking.

Comfortable

I stayed here as part of a group tour and it was easily the best hotel. People were very helpful, there was a very fast and inexpensive laundry service and the breakfast had a good range plus it was served next to the lovely pool. The location is a short walk into town. 

Lovely Brazilian inn

Staff were very friendly, great customer service but also had a cosy family feel to it. Room was huge and clean. The pool was nice to have a quick dip in after a long day. Wifi was reliable. The walk into old town probably took around 10 - 15 mins. Breakfast was good, nice to sit outside and soak the morning sun. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Cosy feel

We stayed in the hotel for two nights and echo some of the comments in other reviews:

- wifi - patchy
- rooms basic but clean
- breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular 
- it's a 20 minute walk into town
- service on front desk is excellent

Personally I'd stay closer to the old town next time but this was ok. 

Ok for a couple of nights 

Pousada Laguna Blue is well located just at the entrance to Paraty. It gives easy access to all activities like hikes to Praia do Sono or to the waterfalls, the Adventure Park, etc. It is within 20-25 minute walk to the old town.
The owner is attentive and caring person.
The rooms are simple yet cozy and they all overlook the main attraction, the swimming pool. 
If you are looking for a well priced quality accommodation in Paraty this is the place to book.
