A good breakfast, comfortable bed, large bathroom, very clean room and a small balcony overlooking the meticulous park-like grounds at the front of the property made this a great choice. The pousada is on a quiet street, a few blocks away from downtown, so it's a haven of serenity. The staff was very helpful even as they struggled to understand our imperfect Portuguese and we struggled to understand their imperfect English while helping us to find a garage to replace a burnt-out headlight on our rented car. We would definitely stay here again.
