The very welcoming and friendly couple with two wonderful kids offer three houses (two very big, one smaller) in a tropical garden very close to the beach. The breakfast ist great and will be served on your own terrasse. It was perfect that their son was almost the same age as our son and they enjoyed spending time together. We had a wonderful week there and we will come back for sure.

Totally "smooth as silk" staying at Canoanativa, the first impact with the well curated garden that has a wow! effect. Well curated hut with wifi, hot water, mini-fridge  and porch with huge breakfast table and hammocks to relax. I was treated with care in this remote place of the Earth!. Breakfast was huge, barely I could finished it all and so tasty I needed to ask a recipe of a couple of things. 30 meters from not busy beach and after few days you truly feel like a native. I totally recommend this pousada. Now my problem is: when will I go back? Missing Canoanativa SO much it hurts.

a beautiful and soulful staying

It has been my luck to find this hidden gem. I was planning to stay for a couple of nights, but extended to 6 nights. The room sleeps four, but if you are a couple, that is perfect. Two story bungalow with a balcony to gaze at the stars and moon on a beautiful night. Or if you are a hammock fan, well, there is one for him and one for her. Breakfast is served daily at your bungalow with delicious food. 

Set in a lush garden, you'll be able to hear birds chirping in the morning, the best sound of nature. 

And to make my stay more memorable, the owner is very kind and friendly, and the staff are always smiley and helpful.

In a nut shell, I had a wonderful stay here, and would come back to this little gem.

Perfect location, amazing & quaint room, friendly and helpful owner + staff

Having looked at almost every affordable pousada in Boipeba, we stumbled upon Canoa Nativa by change. Though it's one of those things that happen that make you wonder if there actually is some angel sitting on your schouder....Suffice it to say; we found paradise. The bungalows are wonderful, clean and spacious. But more important is the way you will be made to feel at home. And for kids, this is just ideal. The garden is a safe playground even for the youngest, and the host will do everything in her power to help you with whatever you may need. We planned to stay 5 days, and ended up there for 2 weeks....Consider yourself warned :)!

A perfect little place that has it all

When I first arrived at Canoanativa I felt like I had been transported to another world. Right off the beach, as you pass through the gate, it feels like you are passing through a portal into another more idyllic world. Full of tropical plants and trees, the surroundings are beautiful. The apartments are spacious and beautiful. Simple and yet homey. The owner Guia is lovely, engaging and helpful and Ziyu who makes the café da manhã is great too! You can get lost just relaxing in this space, and when you are ready for a change in pace, the beach is a stone's throw away and the village where you can find restaurants and shops is five minutes walk. If I am lucky, I will get to come back here for many years to come!
