Hostel Rosa dos Ventos

The Hostel Rosas dos Ventos is run by two lovely, fantastic young women, full of good energy and a great staff. The atmosphere is young and simple. People who stay there are, for the most, backpacking through Brazil. If you’re interested in cultural exchange, it’s the place to be ! And also, it’s gay-friendly and very open minded ! Breakfast is served with good coffee, sweet or savory tartines, typical Brazilian homemade cakes and jam. Last but not least, there are delicious fresh fruits. Also, you can use or share the kitchen with others if you would like to cook dinner. The couple bedroom had a private bathroom and a very comfortable bedding. Every morning, the room was cleaned and the bed was remade by employees. The Hostel is located close to the harbour with its embarcation, good restaurants, while staying away from the tourist area which sometimes can get noisy and crowded. The beaches are less than 10 to 15 minutes away by walk. The area is safe, we had no problem ! The hostel has a guard by night. I’ll definitely recommand staying at Hostel Rosas dos Ventos, it was a very nice and refreshing stay !
