It's the best place I stayed in Brazil! Great staff, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, good localisation and great price! There is many good restaurants and bars around:)

Great place!

Right from the beginning to the end we felt nothing but welcome at this hostel. It is a hostel but I'd describe it better as a home. It has a combination of bunk beds and private rooms where we stayed in a private room.

For BH the location is ideal as you can walk to anything you want to see locally in the town or get to the bus station with ease. If you age walking from the bus station it's all down hill (we have backpacks and found walking in the day easy). Obvious with it being a city at night it's suggested you take precautions walking the streets but around the hostel was very quiet and felt safe.

The host who runs the property is fantastic. He is always on hand to answer questions or help in any way. The breakfast is fantastic with a great selection of Brazilian foods for breakfast available.

The room was spacious as was the bed. The bed we found very comfortable. In summer you will probably want to sleep with the window open though a fan will cool you down a bit. Being a level up you will experience street noise but generally around 11pm it is quiet.

Why a 5? Obviously not a 5 star hotel but it promises on its delivery and impresses you on service. It's noticeable that they really want you to enjoy your stay.
