Very convenient location a few 100 meters from all city an cable cars. Hotel looks somewhat old outside, but very clean inside. Simple and well equipped the price/quality ratio is excellent. Plenty of food for breakfast. Nit fancy, but worth it

Excellent location

Although from outside does not look like something special, it is very nice hotel with air-conditioned rooms, good Wi-Fi and excellent breakfast. I had a room facing inner court it was very quiet. Beds comfortable, bathroom pretty large. It is some 100 m from Miljacka river, and sone 800 m to lively Baščaršija historic district with many typical oriental souvenirs shops and restaurants. Staff very helfull. Safe parking inside innercourt but limited number of cars..

In the heart of Sarajevo

As previous reviewers have said, not a 4 star hotel, but still adequate for the city
In a great location, in a quite side street, but only mins walk to the main road and square and bizarre.
Room basic but clean and tide, bed comfortable with nice linens and towels.
Breakfast nice with plenty of fruit and cheese, staff friendly

Great Location

It is on a main street so you cannot open the windows to cool down the room because of the noise and lack of screens (for insects). No kettle or coffee maker. No safety deposit box, tired curtains and bedspreads. There's problems with wifi in B-H and hotel was not different.
Everything seemed dusty, old, tired ... staff must hate to work there because if you complain, they just ignore you

TV was snowy, blurry but heating was on during a warm day

We were a group of people coming to this hotel, and some of us got rooms with only a very small window in the ceiling, no window at all on any wall. The rooms were so small there was absolutely no space for the suitcase. No lamps by the bed, only one lamp in the ceiling. This was more like a prison cell than a hotel room. Cannot be recommended. Absolutely not a 4 star hotel

Warning for very small rooms without windows!

Starting with the positives, the hotel location is very central and all of the sights are within walking location. It also has a great ice-cream shop next door.

On the negatives, the staff don’t seem to care about the guests and the air-con is terrible - a number of our group complained about the state of the air-con and very little seemed to be done beyond waving people away.

At dinner the waiters didn’t seem the slights but interested in offering a second round of drinks and needed to be reminded that guests needed to pay for their first round!

The breakfast buffet wasn’t great, but I have had worse.

If this was a 2-star hotel I would give it average to fair marks and as a 3-star I would be disappointed. As a 4-star it simply isn’t good enough - I would recommend avoiding staying here if possible.

2-star hotel at best

Geographically, the location is good but right across the street from two night club/cafe establishments. Now, let's start with dark; there were 2 lights in the room, one a wall sconce which provided very little light, the other a lamp between the 2 beds. The room was extremely small for a shared room and felt like a "monk's cell"  with each bed literally pushed against the wall.  As for dark and dangerous, the hallway lights were motion activated. We were in a "second floor" (more to follow) room at the VERY top of 10 steps; by the time we got out of the room and halfway down the stairs the lights went out! At least one traveler in our group had a room with no window at all. By the way this was the "second floor" which required an elevator to the 2nd floor, then a short distance and up about 5 steps, then a further distance and then up the 10 steps to our room...2nd floor? When we arrived there was a partial roll of toilet tissue and no spare. We had to request additional toilet tissue twice during our stay, there was one cake of soap and don't even think there might have been any kind of facial tissues. Before I went to sleep the first night I emailed our trip supplier to give this same information as on prior trips the hotel selections were at least good. I couldn't get out of there quickly enough. Stay somewhere else!

I found this hotel to be dark, depressing and dangerous

My wife and are on a lovely trip with Road Scholar. Until now the hotels picked by the organizers have been either adequate or out of this world. In Sarajevo Hotel Bosnia is HORRIBLE. Dingy lights. Noisy. Stinks of cigarette smoke (my clothes will need to be aired). Poor service. I am ready to move  out.

We traveled to this city with Road Scholar and were sent to a very small room on a high floor that featured only a window that opened in the ceiling. Allowing rain to come in. The room was very warm and in May the A/C was not yet operating. And we were astounded to find that we could not have a 2nd room key. Couples need two room keys.
