It’s a short walk to the city hall and to the center

The attention and care of the hostess/owner is amazing!!! I don't know her name but she will help you in any way possible.

She called us taxis whenever we needed. She let us leave our bags at the reception for as long as we wanted. She personally looked for a PCR test lab ON A SUNDAY, so that we could travel safely to Belgrade on the next day. And the cherry on top was that we couldn't find any available taxis so SHE DROVE US HERSELF TO THE BUS STATION!!! And wouldn't even take the money for the cost of the ride.

The place looks nice and clean, plus it has a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was pretty decent, they give you coffee/tea and cereals at first but you can pick one of six more nutritious options (omelette, sausages, etc) from the menu they give you. The location is pretty comfortable, only three blocks away from the Old Town and the points of interest for tourists.

The only thing that would need more attention was the bathroom ventilation, it already had a humid smell when we got there. Aside from that, everything went great. Would defined pick it again.


Outstanding attention and care!

We loved our stay at Pansion River. We had opted for room with River View so we got a nice balcony with a beautiful view where we got to witness breathtaking sunset views over the river. The room was spacious and cosy. Everything was clean. Hot & cold water dispenser was provided  along the hotel corridor. The breakfast room was also bright and airy with the river view. Breakfast was filling. The staffs were all friendly especially the front desk staff lady whom was helpful giving us lots of info. It's a nice 5-10 mins walk to the old town where you will walk by the river then along shops.  We absolutely loved our stay.

Relaxing Stay

Really great value, fantastic views

Slightly tired in places but that adds to the charm

There was a do happening on the Saturday which I was informed about at check in with loud music but fortunately I had my earphones and music stopped at a reasonable time 

Friendly staff

Only slight gripe apart from the loud music above was the fact that they don’t accept card payment

Excellent value

Our trip to Sarajevo was made even better by our stay at Pansion River. We had a nice clean room with a great view of the river, and even though the main road was very close we weren't bothered by any noise. Pansion River is only a short walk away from the old town, and there are shops and good restaurants very close by. Walking along the river will get you to a lot of interesting sights. The best part however was the fantastic service; We were picked up at the airport by the owner of the Hotel, and we a had a very interesting discussion about the recent history of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way. 

The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful, and they even bought some low carb snacks and sweetener for our daughter who has diabetes. The reception staff spoke English very well, and gave us lots of advice about what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was good, and it was nice to eat out on the terrace overlooking the river.

On our last day we received a nice gift from the hotel, and the owner very kindly drove us to the airport. 

If we ever decide to return to the wonderful country of Bosnia and Herzegovina again we would absolutely consider staying here again, and definitely recommend anyone travelling to Sarajevo to check it out.

Wonderful Service!

It is an authentic and historical place on the river. Erkin, Anita, Muberra and other staffs are very kind and helpful. Beautiful people and beautiful place to visit.

Was very lucky to pick this place for my stay. Great location, wonderful staff, especially lady from front desk. Very nice room with balcony just over river. Very good breakfast. Sarajevo old town is 3 min away on foot. The only tip, if you need reliable wifi, pick rooms from upper levels and ground level has a very jumpy signal.

Fabulous

Beautiful location and a short walk from the old town. The room we got was clean and spacious for four. There was a tree growing through the room and the architect planned the room so they can save the ancient tree. The trunk was inside the room with a few green leaves but the canopy was outside giving the room a shade. Nice balcony that opened onto the river with great views. Breakfast was free but limited. I took my family our from breakfast as there were many local places to eat and at a very reasonable price.

Great Location and Amazing View

We stayed in Hotel Pansion River for 4 nights and highly recommend this hotel. Our room was river facing with a deck. Excellent service, sumptuous breakfast and extremely friendly staff. 3 mins walk to Old town. Right in middle of old town yet peaceful ambience.
