My ladyfriend and I toured parts of Europea while back and when looking for a B&B in the area Ieper close to the WW-I battle fields, I saw this on TripAdvisor and bookeid a room for us.
We arrived later than expected due to weather and road constructions and were greeted in a most friendly way.We asked if any restaurants were open in the area and the hostess asked if we had any Euros on us.All wa had were British Pounds and American Dollars. She graciously gave us 40 Euros and said she would just add it to our bill.
The room was very cozy and comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was beyond compare. 
There is also a beautiful garden around the building that she maintains herself
We couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay.

MOST FRIENDLY OF PLACES

The hosts Sonja and Marc are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. This was our 2nd stay and we would definitely recommend it.
The rooms are immaculate and have everything you need.
Breakfast is plentiful and all fresh.  The views are panoramic and stunning.

Fabulous B&B

Perfect location to explore all the sites from WW1. Lovely, clean rooms which were very comfortable and warm in winter. An amazing breakfast spread of breads, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, crepes, meats, eggs, cheese and other goodies. Our hosts were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area and helped us decide where to visit. No problem with communication as they could speak multiple languages.

This was our last stop on the way back to Calais after touring Germany and Austria. Our accommodation had all been very good up to this point so one is always a bit wary that the final stop might be the disaster of the tour - we shouldn't have worried! Sonya greeted us as soon as we turned in off the road and helped us lift our cases from out motorcycle up to our room. Their is a large garage under the house so the bike was put in there for the three nights that we were there. Sonya had made homemade apple pie and tea / coffee for us which we ate out on the patio with her. Marc arrived shortly after and again was the perfect host. The accommodation was perfect with an en-suite and tea / coffee in the room and a fridge with beers and soft drinks in the hallway. Breakfast was amazing - Sonya takes a pride in the presentation and it certainly sets you up for the day. Both Sonya and Marc speak good English and have an excellent knowledge of the area and its history. We had planned this last stay to view the historical sites from The Great War and our hosts were invaluable in telling us where to go. The house is about 4 km from Ypres town centre which for us was easy to walk each day although there is an hourly bus service during the day from outside the house. Sonya and Marc are lifelong cyclists so this is also and ideal place to stopover for cyclists with a secure garage for the bikes. La Passarelle is only sixty miles from Calais so it is an ideal stop off on the way to other destinations or on the way back, although I would recommend at least three days here to really appreciate the area and it's history. There is free WiFi available.

Immaculate accommodation and perfect hosts.

Sonja and Marc have this business sorted. Lovely house in a central location. Great food and clean and comfortable rooms. 2 Adults and 2 teens stayed for a couple of nights whilst exploring the area, ( for WW1 ancestry reasons mostly ). Perfect hosts, friendly and knowledgable. Will stay here again if in area.

Fantastic B+B

Sonja and Marc were welcoming and enthusiastic hosts.  The breakfast was in a very pleasant dining room with a view across the fields, and was fresh, varied and plentiful - especially enjoyed the breads.  We stayed in the "family room", which unfortunately was too cramped and stuffy for 2 adults and 2 teenagers.  Otherwise I'd give this B&B 5 stars.

My wife and son and I stayed here for two nights, prior to driving to Calais, to catch the shuttle. Situated on the Menim Road, you’d expect it to be noisy. Not in the least, a very quiet location and about a ten minute drive from Ieper. A couple of minutes walk from the Hooge Crater Museum and the Cemetery. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, who were most helpful and who spoke excellent English. The bed rooms were clean and tidy, although the shower gel dispenser was empty, and in my sons room there were two empty beer bottles. But all that aside the place is well worth staying in, and you get the distinct impression of sharing a private house and not staying in an anonymous B&B. Breakfast was very good, cereals, bread, cheese and ham. Even a boiled egg. Excellent place to stay to visit Ieper and the surrounding battle sites.
