It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful home. From the super comfy bed, upmarket toiletries in the bathroom, candles lighting your way downstairs in the morning to the amazing continental breakfast served in a bright airy room. We highly recommend this b&b.

Homely and welcoming

De Nacht Wacht is in a great location on a quiet street and just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Cloth Hall and the Menin Gate, free parking is available too either on the street or a free car park just 2 minutes away.

As for the accommodation, it really is very good. They only have 3 rooms and we had two of them for two nights. They are well equipped, clean and roomy with an excellent shower and bathroom. Perhaps the only negative, and perhaps this is just a personal thing, the bed in our room was very, very low, if you are not quite as nimble as you once was and suffer from bad knees as I do, it can be a bit of a struggle to get out of it.

We were made very welcome by the lady of the house who gave us loads of information on the area, and her recommendation for an evening meal at a restaurant in the main square, which incidentally is owned by her husband was a great tip, we all had a fantastic meal there.

Breakfast was included in the price of our room, and again it was excellent, lots of choice and very fresh. Its a great place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Great Location

1st time we stayed in  belgium both the b&b and ypres  was impressive.The b&b was family run and was clean .well run and they do a good continental breakfast to start the day.Ina is the hostess and gives you loads of information  about ypres and the surrounding  areas which gives you piece  of mind.Mike runs a restaurant in the city centre with his  brother which you must visit the food was  excellent (int Dr Klein stadhuis).Ypres is a beautiful  city with the menin gate and Flanders museum and various cemeteries around.There are loads of eateries and bars around and we did enjoy our stay we would stay again at this b&b and we will  definitely  come back to ypres

Beautiful little family run B&B within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Menin Gate not to mention smack bang in the middle of the Salient.
Our hosts were lovely and very helpful and we can't recommend it enough!
All I will say is its cash payment so bear that in mind but there's a cashpoint within 100m. 

Fantastic

Ine & Mike run a lovely b&b which is also their home .Nothing is too much trouble for them and they offer helpful tips on things to do, local events etc. Walking distance from the station and all the major historical sites in the City.Breakfast is not just a meal here, but a spectacular event ,Ine even makes her own jam! There are only 3 guest rooms so there is good attention to detail and the place is immaculate -Big tip- if you can't decide which room to book , take the room with the Bath, its a good size bathroom and godsend if you've been on your feet all day doing walking or cycling tours (or even too much shopping)  Mike also has a restaurant in town "In 't Klein Stadhuis" well worth a visit

A Great Place to stay in Central Ypres

A warm welcome in this 3-room B&B. In a residential area a few minutes from the city center! The parking lot in front of the hotel is equipped with a parking space (3 hours available) otherwise there is a parking space at the end of the street, completely free of charge. Everything was perfect: the room is beautiful and decorated with a lot of taste (see photo) and everything is very clean. Bathroom dirt in the room as well as toilet. We would have just liked a door for the toilets that give in the room... Breakfast prepared on demand with fresh and local products, a treat!

Super B&B to spend the night on Ypres!

Lovely decorated, modern rooms. Very good beds. Excellent breakfast, coffee in between and a very nice, cheerful hostess. Just a few steps to the Grand Market. Perfect!!! The house seems old, but it's not. It was rebuilt - like the whole city - in the 1920s according to old plans. After World War I ended, Ypres was wiped out, Churchill wanted to leave the ruins as a memorial. But the population came and built up.

The best B&B we've ever had.

If you want to visit the beautiful city of Ypres (full of charm and character), look no further, it is De Nacht Wacht. This stay will delight you in every way: a cozy room, very comfortable bedding and pillows, a perfect breakfast and an extremely freshness (with pressed orange juice for example).

It is indispensable and incomparable!

We had a very pleasant stay: a welcome with a delicious local beer, a perfect room in every way, a full breakfast as we love them (good luck with the beautiful sunshine!) and a very friendly atmosphere.

very welcoming and warm

For a romantic two-on-one weekend, the steep B&B is beautiful. It is an old house with excellent architecture. Very stylish and lovingly renovated. You should definitely book in advance because there are only a few rooms. This B&B is also wonderful for cyclists (as we were). We were allowed to take the bikes with us to the house, so everything was safe. To welcome in the breakfast room there was a Belgian beer or, for wine drinkers, also a wine, with a little nuts - great! The breakfast did not leave any wishes open either. All around really friendly and beautiful!
