I was staying here on a business trip and overall it's an average hotel in my opinion. 

The car park is suitably sized, and no issue finding a space, I was in a van and usually parking it is a nightmare. I am happy to say this was not one of those occasions. Parking is free.

The entry to the reception is via a gravel / paved area, and the front door doesnt seem very friendly to wheelchair users...

Upon entry my reservation was found with minimal fuss and the person at the desk spoke good english. Wifi is complementary. 

The room I had was spacious and had a nice view onto the golf area, but the thing I didn't like about it, was the wall and floor look like they have not been cleaned in a while - I notice this is what a lot of other guests have said and it seems they are right.

The restaurant seemed much nicer than the room, and I enjoyed a steak before heading to bed.

I suppose overall the lack of cleaning was little bit disappointing, but nevertheless the bed seemed clean and comfortable enough and I didnt wake up to find any bites etc which is always nice.

The breakfast bar was very small, but offered basic cold meats and bread etc, NO cooked buffet style food.

Average Hotel, but rooms desperately need renovation.

It was a bit of a challenge to find this property. When we finally arrived, there was no-one at the reception desk and we had to ring a bell to call someone. He was unable to find our reservation so he called someone else. Eventually everything was settled and we made our way to our room.
To start with, our room was huge, with massive windows looking out onto the golf course. However, everything in the room looked old, worn out and tired. The carpet in particular was dirty-looking and stained, the sofa was lumpy, and the little TV didn't work very well. I think this property was quite the showpiece in its day, but now it is in dire need of a complete facelift. Fortunately the bathroom was well-equipped and everything functioned well, and the beds were comfortable.
There is a dining room on site with a lovely patio overlooking the golf course. We went there for dinner and waited for quite some time to be seated. Finally, one of the other guests told us we could simply choose our spot, so we took a table outside. We sat there for over 20 minutes and in that entire time, no waiter came to the table or even acknowledged our presence. After such a long wait, we tried to get somebody's attention, but no luck.
We gave up and drove into Waregem for dinner.

Lots of potential but not fulfilled

Yes it's cheap, yes it is very basic, but when I have to put my outdoor shoes on to walk across the carpet because it looks so filthy then I am afraid this does not equate to value. We arrived to no one on reception but 4 members of staff in view completely ignoring us. When one of them did eventually come to check us in he was far from welcoming. I had recently come out of hospital so am not aloud to lift anything so asked for help with my bag I was told no one was available. Going to the room the corridors upstairs really smelly, carpets, walls and banisters were stained. Carpet in room had cigarette burns stains and dirt. Bathroom was unclean and many fittings had already fallen off or were hanging off. Decor was marked, tired, and in some places paint had peeled off. No facilities in the room not even a kettle, one bedside lamp that did not work. When I complained the next morning I was told I could upgrade if I paid extra, with more complaining I was offered an upgrade for free but having seen the state of the rest of the hotel we checked out and went somewhere else.

Filthy and tired


Very unhappy with the rooms (lights don't work, shower broken, no wifi as promised...). Desperately need of remodeling! The whole infrastructure is old and I was always afraid when walking up the steps. The breakfast is ok for a buffet style and only the coffee machine needs a change. 


Not a place to go...

I stayed three nights at this little tucked away hotel in Waregem, which has beautiful views of the golf course from the hotel rooms.  The cost was a extremely reasonable, the bed very comfortable and the room was spacious, if very dated! One has everything one needs so it really doesn't matter that the carpets and curtains are a terrible match and look as if they were chosen in the 1970's! It is also a pleasur to come back to the restaurant and bar which has a lovely outdoor section on the edge of the golf course, a pleasant atmosphere and jolly nice food!
