Fancied a quick break from home, found this little hotel 55 seconds from the beach (timed it, sad) nice quite location but seconds from the nearest bar, also the best bar. 
Parking was the only complaint as 
the car park was full and they wanted to charge you to use it? Clean rooms with great heating, staff;  jack of all trades but that has now become the norm, very pleasant though.
If you are looking for a very reasonable hotel with a good breakfast choice, I reccomend this place.

We'd been down to the commemorations at Thiepval and after a brief stop in Ypres had a relaxing day in De Panne. The hotel has it's own car park that is an extra charge but is well worth it. The staff are friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was very good and would've been excellent if had tea and coffee making facilities which seems to be the norm in most hotels. The bathroom with it's dual shower is clean modern and well lit and gets top rating from the wife. (something that's never happened before)
Breakfast could've been a bit better, the usual scrambled, sausage, bacon in the heated device was adequate, coupled with cereals, toast etc but i need to have a cup of tea and they had plenty of fruit one's, earl grey but no good old basic variety.
De Panne should be a mecca for road trip brits making their way to and from the ferries at Dunkirk and hotels like this one, top of the list to stay in.

This Hotel is in a great location near the beach, bars, restaurants, shops. Clean friendly and does a decent buffet breakfast. They also have free wifi. Reasonable price paid to stay there as well. Would stay there again.

Good Location

It's 2 star rating seems a little harsh, considering the service and quality we received.
We were greeted warmly and offered a personable service.
Two rooms were instantly prepared for us, though we had not reserved anything.

An underground, locked garage was provided to us to store motorcycles in over night - always a comfort.

The rooms were comfortable, large and clean. En suite bathrooms were simple, but perfectly ample.

The locations is right in the middle of town, great for going out for an explore.

Ideal find as a stay over B&B

We stayed in this Hotel as a large group on a 6 day music tour of Belgium. All the paperwork leading up to the trip indicated that we were staying in Hotel Cajou. Initially we were not phased that we were staying across the road in this Hotel but as time progressed we became aware of a number of shortcomings. This Hotel is advertised as being disabled friendly, unfortunately it is not. There is no ramp up to the front door, 4/5 steep steps instead. it is not possible to get a motorised wheelchair in the lift and the stairs are very narrow as an alternative. The shower rooms are very small and not designed for disabled use. The bedrooms and the furniture in them is very tired. The showers were cramped and needed repairs. Basically the Hotel is much need of complete refurbishment! 
The food is very basic and insufficient for Adults.
The bar was not manned the whole week we stayed.
Be careful if planning a trip as part of a large group!!
