What can I say about the Villa Jarrow?  It's the most wonderful property owned by the most charming man.  You'll be staying in an amazing location at St Lawrence Gap - right on the shoreline with waves lapping up to the foot of the Villa.  The balcony gives you incredible views out to sea with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.  Villa is fully loaded with everything you'll need - kitchen, wifi, BBQ, the works.  But the highest scores are generated by the people.  What an amazing bunch they are.  So to Tim (owner), Mikey (turtleman) and Arden (comedian) thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You guys turned our lovely holiday into something quite magical.  Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Staying at Villa Jarrow was truly a magical experience. It is a beautifully and lovingly restored house with exposed stonework and equipped with everything we could need. The really magical part was the spacious rear veranda which juts out over the beach where we we spent most of our time. We watched the sun set and rise from here and you have your own steps down from the veranda directly onto the beach. We were greeted by Timothy, the owner with delicious coconut rum cocktails! He showed us everything, recommended restaurants and introduced us to Mike (aka MC TURTLEMAN) who keeps his boat moored steps from the villa.  Mike took us out on the boat several times to swim with turtles, explore the shipwrecks and the best of all fishing.  My son caught fish with Mike who then gutted them for us and we cooked them and ate them together on the veranda watching the sun set - Catch it and Cook it! It doesn't get better - the highlight of our trip! Plenty of lovely restaurants to walk to although for a special night out would recommend Champers about 5 mins in a cab.

The owner is very friendly and responsive to all requests. The villa is located right next to St Lawrence Gap and in walking distance of night life and great restaurants. We had a great time and the Villa was very comfortable.

If you are interested in going to Barbados and need a villa, please contact Tim at (246) 424-4097. Villa Jarrow is in St. Lawrence  Gap and just 15 minutes from airport and walking distance from restaurants, nightclubs, supermarkets, shops, and golf courses. 
The villa is a one level unit with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and sleeps six. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms but not in the kitchen, dining and living room. The only drawback during our stay was the mosquitos.They were extremely hungry and out of control due to the recent sewer issue the island experienced. But other than that, Villa Jarrow is a gem.

This was fantastic as advertised.  Large, clean and great service. Will definitely return and recommend to family and friends! Close to town so you have to make sure your not being crazy and attracting attention but great place for small parties and quiet peaceful Caribbean mornings.  Watch the locals fish and bargain for boat rides, but be prepared to lend a hand!

Villa Jarrow is a charming beautifully renovated old stone house in a lovely location. It is well furnished and fully equipped with copious towels and linens. The kitchen has an excellent supply of dishes and cutlery.  All of this was kept spotlessly clean by our charming housekeeper Rose Anne during our one month stay.
The location is great for beaches restaurants and bars as well as shopping nearby. St Lawrence Gap is very lively and as mentioned by others can be a little noisy especially on Friday and Saturday night. However we quickly got used to it and enjoyed the atmosphere. The beds and air conditioned bedrooms are very comfortable and we slept extremely well.
As is often the case in the tropics there are some mosquitoes, but Tim, our host, made sure that we knew where the bug spray was.
Tim is a warm and friendly host who delights in ensuring that his guests have a very enjoyable stay on his lovely island.
We hope to be able to become one of Tim’s many repeat guests.

Spent a glorious 22 days at Villa Jarrow...this being my 8th time to Barbados.
Stumbled across this oceanfront home while staying at the YellowBird Hotel in May/17.
During that stay we met up with Tim who was gracious enough to show us his home prior to us returning home.
I have stayed on the West and South coasts of Barbados over the years and very much enjoy the Worthing/St Lawrence Gap area.
The location of this property is amazing! Steps to a beautiful small beach where you can swim with the turtles and meet some of the local fisherman. You are within walking distance to many great restaurants, 2 other wonderful beaches, shopping and grocery stores. You will get some noise from the disco in the Gap, but it is my understanding the locals are working to have this stopped by midnight.
The house is very charming...lots of character! Nothing fancy, but very spacious for 2 couples. The home could use a little TLC, but the location of this property makes up for all of that. 
Hope to be back at Villa Jarrow next year!

Lovely Relaxing vacation at Villa Jarrow

We had booked a stay for this coming Dec back in March and had already paid the 50% deposit. Everything was confirmed. Then 3 months later, out of the blue, the owner sends us a very non apologetic email that supposedly they had made a mistake and the place was already taken... I answered right away challenging the fact that it had taken them 3 months to figure it out? Never heard back from him... Getting the AirBnb support engaged, we got full reimbursement and also heard that he had a regular guest coming at the same time as our booking... I guess our 4 nights stay looked more interesting back in march when bookings were scarce but could not compete with another more interesting request... The owner mentioned something about helping us but at this point trust was gone... we managed on our own... 

The place looked really nice but when you are in the hospitality business, trust is everything...
