Adina Apartment Hotel Coogee Sydney

We are a middle-aged American couple who spent 8 nights in this nice hotel in December 2024. We loved the location of this hotel – two and a half blocks from the buzzling beach meant great proximity, yet it made a huge difference to have some quiet. It was nice to chill on our balcony facing away from the busy Coogee Bay Road. We found our 1-bedroom apartment clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and all fixtures – including the full kitchen - working great. Having washer and dryer in the big bathroom added to the practicality also. Living here allowed us to fully enjoy the beach life. We could stroll down to Coogee for a quick dip in the ocean, head South a bit further to swim in the wonderful Wylie’s Baths, and explore the beautiful coastal walk to or from Bondi. While we enjoyed sampling a few beach front restaurants that included the Coogee Pavillion (best vibe!), we also liked preparing simpler meals in the apartment. Therefore, we found it super convenient to have the Woolworth’s Metro supermarket and another grocery store right across the street, especially when we learned that they stayed open until late. Our casual vacation itinerary had alternate beach days versus sight-seeing days. From our apartment, we made day trips to the CBD via the bus or the light rail. There was just too much to see! Finding our way to and from the CBD via public transportation was both entertaining and challenging at times. Still, around our Coogee neighborhood near this hotel, it was never difficult to locate bus stops etc. The Adina Apartment Hotel always had a front desk person to offer visitors great help. Our day-to-day exchanges with the front desk staff had been lovely. Their local pointers and guidelines, not to mention authentic Aussie points of view, added to our experience. I would definitely recommend visitors to Sydney’s Eastern suburbs / beach cities to stay at this nice apartment hotel.
