Staying in town for a couple of nites. Delughted to find the Hotel reopened and refreshed. Live music and friendly team.

Rooms not so flash but the new bar very cool

I recently stayed in the motel wing of this hotel. I was looked after well by reception. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped.  The building itself is very dated and unattractive.  The bathroom was functional with plenty of water for a hot shower, but needs a full renovation.  The walls were paper thin with children running down the corridor and noise can easily be heard from other rooms, where there are loud guests, as well as in the stair well. The stair well door is also slammed by some guests.  It is just a three star and needs a full renovation. Could be a cheap family option, although it's not that cheap. I think that I had one of the better rooms and was pleased with that. There are some interesting cafes nearby and access to the town is great.

Basic

Arrived on a rainy evening, no under cover or even nearby parking, had to park across the road. Reception is located separately from accommodation. No under cover entrance to accommodation. Otherwise, room was adequate.

Disappointed

Junkies / jailies and shifties stay there. They leave their dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. You have to pay 70 or 90 dollars a night to adjust around stupid aggro people like that! In the rooms, there isn't even a chair, a bin, of hangers in the closet. The doors of the closet don't even have handles on them. Then u have to be a an electrician to There's something really shonky going on in that place. Give it a miss!

avoid this place like the Plague!!

This hotel caters for junkies, drug dealers and peodophiles. You will be met in the halls by people asking for money, smokes etc, Fights and police are a regular accourance. Take caution when mixing with these troubled people, your door wil be kicked in and life threatened.
