Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing to complain about. Very comfortable rooms, well equipped, clean and owners very friendly and accommodating.  A broom with long handle would be useful as we are elderly and cannot stoop. Some shelf space for underwear etc would be good.

Excellent accommodation

Apart from being ideally located between the cheapest petrol on the peninsula (BP Dromana) and the biggest supermarket in the southern hemisphere (Ritchies IGA), this   impeccably clean establishment was our stopover for 4 nights between 23/11 and 27/11. Despite it being on a main road, the units are quite secluded and spared from all but the slightest bit of traffic noise (which was negligible during the night). Cafes, supermarket and takeaways are a 10 minute walk which you can take along the beachfront. We stayed in room number one and had nothing to wish for as everything to make our stay enjoyable was provided. Business owners, Denise and Doug personally manage, maintain and clean the premises so quality control is guaranteed. Loved it to bits and will recommend it to anyone.
PS: Cross the road out front, walk onto the beach, sit on the boat shed deck and watch the sunset over point Nepean with a Sav Blanc in hand. Magic!

Right In The Middle Of It

I wish we stayed two nights now.  What a seamless, and welcoming check-in; thank you Doug. 
Our room, all rooms are identical, and bonus there are only 4, so that is a bonus right. Our room was immaculately clean, and had everything anyone needs.
If you want to stay somewhere close to the peninsula where you can base yourself and go exploring, then this is your place. If visiting during the warmer months then I recommend you plan ahead and book early as this is in a great location across from the beach........did I mention only 4 rooms? Winning!
My partner live only an hour away in Bayside area and we would love to come back.

Lovely, clean, and Acco.odating

Perfectly appointed accomodation. Has kitchenette so was nice to make our own brekkie. Warm and spacious, has a couch which was nice to relax with a drink and watch tv after a day exploring. Lovely beach across the road and quick drive to some great wineries which were delicious! Highly recommend!

Lovely Beach Stay!

The Dromana Beach Getaway was exactly that a beach getaway that is close to the city, has everything you could want for close by, and as our title indicates is by far and away one of the nicest stays we have had in a very long while. 

Doug and Denise are ridiculously accommodating, know the area like the back of their hand and nothing is too much trouble. 

Given there are only 4 self-contained rooms (that are immaculately cleaned) it can be difficult to book in peak times so get in early to make sure you secure this gem.

Doug also highly recommends going for a swim each day, and whilst it might be a little on the cool side is extremely refreshing, although in the middle of the year it might be a bit too much!

Overall, we can’t rate this place highly enough, and look forward to our next visit.

5 Star Service, 5 Star Location and 5 Star Accommodation!

A comfortable, clean and very well equipped unit. A large verandah with comfortable chairs and a table allocated to each unit. We were able to self cater although there are several eating places close by. The beach is just across the road and is a great place to swim or just walk. A good spot from which to explore the Peninsula.

A great find

This well-maintained and managed property is in a good location just a short walk to the shops and restaurants at Dromana and just across the road from the beach.  It’s a great spot to stay on the Mornington Peninsula it’s quite central and an easy drive to the wineries of the region.  Denise and Doug are super friendly and thoughtful hosts who have fitted and furnished the studio to a high standard and with a lot of care.  The studio is modern and spacious with a well-equipped kitchenette (gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher, full size fridge, microwave etc).  The bed is super comfortable, the shower is great and Foxtel with a flat screen TV is a bonus!  We loved the soft fluffy towels and lovely bed linens.  This is a great option for a stay on the Mornington Peninsula!

Well-equipped studio in great location!

What lovely place to stay. Denise and Doug were very  welcoming and made sure we were going ok during thr stay. The room had a full kitcken with every thing you needed. A couch to watch TV and a beautiful  comfy bed. The bath room was great and the shower  was beautiful  and hot. You had your own outdoor setting to relax outside. There is provision for a bbq. The shop are walking distance and the beach is across the road. It is all what you need for a holiday.. highly  recommend  you stay at this motel.

Long weekend  away

A lovely place to stay! Our room was inviting and comfortable, had a full kitchen, nice bathroom (even Foxtel!). The location was so close to the beach and local shops - it was great to be able to walk, as well as drive to nearby wineries and the surrounds. Our hosts Denise and Doug were so friendly, going above and beyond.
