Beautiful stay!

If you are after a quiet place, comfortable bed, relaxing sleep, panoramic views including Mt Wellington, sumptuous breakfast provisions to get you through touring the Huon Trail, Bruny Island, and Hobart and surrounds, then look no further Nierinna Rise is the place tucked away in the hills of Margate. Genial hosts Jan, Ric and Meggs will ensure your stay is memorable.

Serenity Plus

Arrived with rainstorm and did not see much of the beautiful scenery.  It would be much better in a sunny day.  The room is really nice with carefully selected decorations by the owners.  Would love to go back again.

A hidden gem

This is a MUST for that weekend away or a few days to regroup either alone or with a partner. When you walk in, you feel relaxed and at home. Everything is perfect; beginning with the gentle but very friendly welcome from Jan and Ric. The room is warm and cozy with a wonderful view and access to the hillside and gardens. I never eat continental breakfasts- that is  until now. Homemade jams and marmalade, a beautiful bread chosen daily, fresh fruit, yogurt  and REAL MILK. So quiet and peaceful-this is a delightful place to visit. Get out of Hobart and simply enjoy...... Even the toilet paper and tissues are of the best quality. Thank you Ric and Jan....

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL........

B & B but room is huge and very comfortable.  Plenty of food in continental breakfast.  Whilst outside City it is still only short drive to Kingston or City.

Nice location in bushland setting.

This B&B type accommodation is very well set up in a quite rural location and offers an excellent place to relax and enjoy. Very pleasant accommodation, beautiful shower/en-suite and facilities, probably a little 'out of town', but a lovely place to breath in the clean air and shed stress or pressure. We will definitely look up this place again when next visiting the Hobart/Kingston area (southern Tasmania) with the intent of staying again. Love the character of this place.

A secluded, comfortable retreat with all that you need for that quiet getaway.  Ten minutes from Kingston, twenty to Hobart, and close to all of the great destinations the Channel has to offer.  Brunch at the Margate train with a slow browse of the local crafts and antiques, then a scenic drive down the Channel Highway or across to the Huon Valley.  Great hosts ensured we were comfortable and had all we needed.  We will definitely be returning to this little beauty!

A warm, private retreat you'll love!

We arrived at this B and B exhausted after a long walk to be warmly welcomed  by hosts who seeing our fatigue, kindly bought us our breakfast supplies early.It became a light dinner of yoghurt and fresh fruit that made our stay a delight. We could simply relax, enjoy the cosy room, the delightful view and recover. Everything is there in the room for a comfortable stay. We left too early to thank our hosts but they deserved our praise! Great value.

I want to thank the owners of Nierrinna Rise for splendid days that I spent with my family in this place. Everyone who tired from the noise of big cities and crowds on the streets can spent lovely weekends or holidays in this place. Me and my family really liked this place and its stunning surrounds.
