2 reviewsThis is an old house (originally built by a local miller) that later became a shop and is now stylishly presented as two self-contained flats. We stayed in the 'Cowgill' room. It's located upstairs, so if access is an issue stay in the De Witt room. This is a spacious 1 bedroom apartment, with decent kitchen, lovely bath (underfloor heating a real treat in a Hobart Winter) and wonderful bed. This was really a home away form home. It's a very short walk to Battery Point shops (150m) and merely 5 minute stroll to Salamanca Place. Perfect location for a Hobart visit. Pluses are: Location Comfort and presentation / quality Cleanliness Value for money Plenty of 'on-street' parking (at weekends) Minuses The crockery probably needs updating (cups especially) - but a real minor quibble M
