Camped in a Jayco for 4 nights in the sept school holidays with our 6&7y/o girls. 
Place was moderately busy with a great little playground. The heated pool was too cold for our liking and spa / toilets not useable due to COVID but the slide made up for what the area lacked and it was pleasant enough. 
The park feeds the birds everyday and has a huge jumping pillow whilst the kids wait which is a nice touch. There’s a full games room and theatre which airs some good movies too but we didn’t use these. 
Unfortunately the land that surrounds the park that it used to be on is being built on and as well as this there is roadwork construction at night on the highway which kept us well awake only to be woken very early by whistling and laughing tradies in the house sites...my only suggestion here is check the map before you book a site and bring earplugs or maybe stay in one of the cabins. (I was a bit miffed on a Tuesday morning at just b4 7am a tip truck full of sand motored it’s way inches past my jayco bed end inside the park to a small gate opening to the houses newly constructed next to us...waking all of us up)
In my opinion until all these ‘works’ are finished it’s ok for a quick stopover for going to the zoo and other day trips but not somewhere I would actively stay for the entire day if I wanted to relax and have a holiday.

Made online booking for family camping holiday. Took money but no confirmation of site.
Called reception, she was ‘too busy’ would not assist and hung up on me without taking my name or phone number.

Took money for accommodation but no booking.... beware

Unfortunately the only positives were the price, the friendly and honest staff and the clean and well equipped ensuite bathroom. 
I tried to book over the internet and kept getting a no availability message, we only wanted one night but it seemed like internet bookings needed to be min 2 nights. We rang thinking it was a Big4 park,  but that's no longer the case.
We were told that an over 50's village was under construction next door,  hence the great price of $45 for the ensuite caravan site.  
What I wasn't prepared for was the traffic noise from the highway,  probably should have realised it would be so noticeable as it's so close.   Being a light sleeper I heard the trucks and cars all night.   Also around 5:30am it seemed like an industrial type rubbish collection was happening somewhere nearby.  Lots of reverse beeping noise and then crashing sounds. 
The ensuite bathroom is great, shower, toilet,  hand basin and room to move.  Internal and external lights and exhaust and heated light inside.  Very clean and in good working order.   Only has one external power point for two ensuits, so we were lucky the site wasn't full or we may not have had access to power. 
It did look like it once had a lovely grounds but the area we were in is now like suburbia. 

No longer affiliated with Big 4 parks

The property is quite convenient to specialist vet clinic in Tanawha and also affordable when staying in a tent.  We were the only campers and had the closest-to-level site to pitch our tent which was directly opposite the reception and amenities building.  It was relatively quiet with some highway traffic noise - the noise seemed bearable and never interfered at night. The resort seemed well catered for young families with facilities including tennis courts, mini-golf, jumping pillows, playground and pool.  There is also a BBQ near the pool.  There is a kiosk behind reception that sells mostly soft drinks and lollies.  They also sell ice.  There are two petrol stations not far from the resort which are also convenience stores, Liberty and BP at Tanawha. The BP one was well stocked. There are supermarkets along with fast food stores near the university - check the map or use google for directions as the roads can be a little difficult to follow at first. There is a small games room and a tv in the main building. There is also a little cinema where children's movies are shown which looked interesting.  For a laundry, there is a washing machine and dryer which is located inside the entrance to the ladies toilets. I think this might be a bit tricky for some blokes during busy season - I was the only one using the toilets and washing machine during my stay.  There is also a restaurant on site, I think it was Tibetan. I ordered a take-away on the last night. Worth a look if you enjoy curries. There was no-one other than the chef when I went there, but I heard from others that it's quite popular.  One small inconvenience I found was the location of the rubbish bins.  The nearest rubbish bin to our site was at the bottom of a fairly steep grassy slope which can be a bit slippery when it rains!  I was the only one staying in that location so was almost tempted to move the bin to a more convenient position.  I stayed 4 of the 7 nights I had booked - I was able to return home earlier than originally planned.  I was not able to get a refund for any of the remaining nights, so if I were to stay here again, I think I would look at booking through a third-party agent with a more transparent cancellation policy.

Affordable camping

The big bouncy thing gets really hot and I severely burnt myself on it. I just wanted to have some fun, and this is what I get? Wow. Pool was nice, but the waterslide gave me splinters. The Big 4 is like the Chucky Cheese of the Sunshine Coast, ever child wants to go there, but ends up being disappointed.

We stayed for 2 nights camping. The resort has made huge changes so there are only about 10 powered sites near us, overlooking the construction site and not appealing.  We still had a good time and the reception ladies were lovely.  On Saturday the park took in day visitors and there was a big pool party - at leasy 50 kids in the pool so no swimming for us.  Sunday we packed up and headed for the pool at 7.30am when the pool was supposed to open.  We thought we would have a last swim and it would be quiet. The pool was shut - a guy rocked up at 7.50am and when I asked him when the pool was opening he said angrily when he had finished cleaning it.  So we waited with 3 other sets of adults and about 10 children and more arriving all the time.  He proceeded to ignore everyone asking him when the pool would be opening, at 8.30am a couple of us asked him exactly how long so we could do other things rather than wait. He was extremely rude and said 15 minutes.  Watching him, he spent 5 minutes with a net and got about 5 leaves ....He opened the pool at 9.10am and I am presuming he then set up for the day visitors.  He went out of his way to be rude and upset everyone - hope he gets the redundancy he's looking for !!

disappointing...

We travel with a caravan and have stayed here before when we catch up with friends. Things have changed. The park is being renovated on a large scale. Construction work is in full swing. The staff were very helpful and found a site for us but the park is in a state of flux. There is noisy traffic on the road outside and you need to be very careful to crossing it to reach safety on the  footpath on the other side. It’s a km walk each way to good organic shopping with a butcher and well stocked supermarket. Otherwise there is not much of interest to walk to. The pool is very nice as are parts of the gardens. It will be interesting to see this caravan park when the work is completed.
