I especially enjoyed the quiet place in the center. There was a great outside seating area in the garden, but uncomfortable iron chairs. The room and the bathroom were clean, but they do not speak english in the reception!

Good choice, in the center, well kept gardens

Elena, is one of the hotel making easy to access - town museum and many restaurants. I enjoyed staying there for few day EXCEPT for one thing - BREAKFAST TIME - it is the most horribly arranged, this time by a man who couldnt even say a word in English language with his long hair like Maradonna. He knew we are going to eat but was not at the kitchen. We had to wait for him to supply us with things like butter or more sugar. Serving breakfast was like a tooth extraction on the management. Why? Only God knows

Unfit breakfast

The hotel is pretty and central to almost everything; shopping, bars, restaurants! The front desk is helpful and breakfast is included. Showers are nice and the beds are comfy, they also have a TV (all in Spanish) nice for some white noise. The only complaint is have is that the doors are not tight enough in their frames to stop bugs... My friend had cockroaches and I had giant ants!! Other than that really wonderful. They pay attention to small details 

Pretty hotel and very central 

Each room is characteristically different and unpredictable.  The ones on the upper floor have balcony, more light but face the road and noisy.  Breakfast is minimal.  If you require privacy, opt for the rooms on the upper floor and cope with the traffic noise.  Some of the rooms on the lower level become dungeons as you will need to close the window if you wish privacy.

Pleasant outdoor brought indoor.......

This hotel is very well located, just a few minutes walk from the main square and along a street with many nice shops and restaurants. However, it is quite old and tired. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings, and are very warm and comfortable - but would benefit hugely from some renovation. A major downside was that our bathroom door did not close properly, which was not ideal as it was a wet room. The shower was freezing cold when I used it early in the morning, but warm water seemed to have been available at unusual times, such as mid-afternoon. The wifi worked slowly and briefly when we arrived (only in the common areas) but broke soon after our arrival and was not fixed by the time we left. Breakfast was quite nice and there is a large, pleasant courtyard area. 

Overall, this was not a bad place to stay in Salta but could definitely do with some serious updating.
