a very original in character b and b. rooms were enormous, breakfast stunning. great host. walking distance to all attractions in the town. WIFI worked well and they were very helpful on what to do and where to go.

Beautifully decorated guesthouse that's close to everything in Berat. The owner is always onsite to help with anything you might need. Her breakfast is fabulous. 

If you are visiting Berat, you can't find a better place to stay.

Wish we'd stayed longer!

The owner give here heart in her buissness .  Room beautifully decorated with othentice peices , breakfast full with homemade "burekas" jams, juice and so on. But not ecessiable for people with walking problems. A lot of stairs to the room even inside rooms. Lovely place!

Othentic and beautifull

We stayed one night here but it was one of the best traditional hotels we have ever stayed in. Small and cozy, clean, wonderful breakfast, just in the middle of the historic part. The only trouble is when you carry a large bag.

A gem

As an overnight tourist to Berat, one of the BEST decisions I made during this time was to select this hotel for my choice of overnight stay. This is VERY conveniently situated within a 2-minute walk from the river, and only a few minutes from the pedestrian walkway, the stadium, mosque, castle park trail head, and all other major attractions of Berat. The rooms are small and cozy, and the bathrooms are wonderfully designed in an aesthetic and colorful way. The breakfast is very tasty, made to order by a very friendly and knowledgeable hostess. The architecture is very traditionally Albanian, and the walk up the hill from this hotel is very enriching and eye-pleasing. 

I VERY STRONGLY recommending making this place a home away from home to ANYBODY traveling to Berat for ANY reason whatsoever, that is looking for an authentic Albanian experience with convenience, comfort, and economy in mind.

A VERY traditional, simple, beautiful, convenient, and economical stay option!!

We stayed here two nights and we were so surprised about the traditional Albanian architecture of this Hotel. Very clean and very cozy, spacious and very quite. This hotel is situated just in the middle of the very lovely Mangalem neighborhood.

The most exceptional Traitional Hotel

We stayed here for one night, in one of the suites. 

This place is a beautifully kept, peaceful oasis located on the ancient winding streets of old Berat. Staying here feels like walking into another century, but with all the comforts of modern times. The suite was rustic, room and newly renovated. Perfectly balanced between luxury and authenticity.

The ladies who run it are very friendly. Take them up on the breakfast. 

Beautiful little getaway lost in time

Stayed one night and it was a fantastic place to stay in the heart of the old town.  Very friendly and welcoming. Room was really large, clean and comfortable. Ample traditional Albanian breakfast served downstairs.  Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful, traditional place to stay

Beautiful, traditional building in the heart of Berat. Friendly hostess, though with little English spoken. Clean, comfortable and very nice breakfast in the morning. Just stayed one night. Can't fault it!
