This lodge offers camping, permanent tents and dorms at very affordable prices. There is a comunal kitchen with the necessary stuff as well as good toilet and shower facilities. It is quieter than it's sister Lusaka backpackers and unfortunately doesn't have a pool but you can walk to the other lodge in 10 min and enjoy the party and pool there. the stuff are veery friendly and professional, always ready to go out of the way to help you with a big smile on their face.
It's 15 min walk to the main mall and it is 100% safe.

quiet and well organised with amazing staff

This backpackers is a small compound located centrally in Lusaka near shopping, awesome Chinese food places, and 'The Deli', a great spot around the corner for coffee and terrific breakfasts.  One notable issue is that my friends pitched their tent near the compound's water tower only to have it start gushing water at 11pm.  The staff informed us someone should have told us to move but no one had.  After insisting that they did not want to move their tent at 11pm, the staff begrudgingly turned off the water.

Simple but great location near amenities

I stayed here for 5 nights. Good prices, friendly staff and clean facilities. Dinner also available. Close to a mall where you can find everything you need. The nights are quiet and the place is very safe.

Very nice place

We used to always stay at Lusaka Backpackers however we have now discovered their sister place Wanderers. It's perfect for us staying in one of the tents but they also offer budget rooms and dorms. As we are always traveling with our dog, Wanderers welcome her and are dog friendly with a huge outdoor area. Internet is good, and staff friendly. It offers self catering facilities and is very centrally located. Great for campers. 

Our new favorite place to stay 

Stayed here two times in june 2017. The first time we camped for two nights and after a week we returned and slept in a dorm for one night. The overall experience is ok, when we stayed here at first we were the only guests, so the place felt rather empty and the staff didn't really bother with us, however they were friendly when we wanted anything. So it is quite a difference from it's "cousin" Lusaka Backpackers. 

For us the best thing was probably the location, it is walking distance from one of the biggest malls in Lusaka (15min) and a bit more far away from the intercity bus terminus (30min). 
There is a basic kitchen facility which we used to cook our own meals. Not very clean but alright. The wifi is one of the best we had during our 2,5 month stay in East- and Southern Africa. 
The dorms are fine but nothing extraordinary, just a room full of beds. 
Conclusively it is a good place to stay at if you are just travelling through Lusaka as we did, if I would spend more time in Lusaka I think that I would choose another place.
