The hotel staff are very hepful and friendly. The central courtyard is beautfully looked after gardens with trees, shade, a nice pool and at night a fire oit. The Cafe and bar are very comfortable. My room had air con, en suite with hot shower, good mosquito net and comfortable bed. Step outside and there are shops, cafe and restuarants all around. Its a short distance to local attractions and markets.A great place to stay in a lovely city.         

A lovely oasis in the heart of Livingstone

Fabulous staff great facilities and clean and comfortable. The fire pit and bar are awesome and delicious pizzas 

Great Backpackers!

We stayed 3 nights in a standard room, and it had everything we needed: a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a firm 2p bed including a mosquito net.

Good security and helpful reception (for us, it was a plus that they were easy to contact via WhatsApp). Breakfast and afternoon pancake service. Having the bar, pool, and spacious (and well-kept) inner garden is a big plus. 

There is also an option to get an affordable massage, pizzas, and souvenirs at the small shop on the premises. A shopping mall is conveniently located on the other side of the street.

The only ownside I can think of is that there were power outages due to the drought.  

We enjoyed our stay, and if we are in the neighbourhood, we'll gladly come back.

Afforable room rates, friendly & helpful staff and clean rooms

This place is downtown right across the street from shoprite and has a lovely garden and peaceful atmosphere. Great for backpackes or family travelers who wish to prepare their own food as they have a wonderful kitchen facility.  You can also get tasty wood-fire pizza from the Basil Cafe on site.  Free pancakes in the afternoon and a gen set when there is load shedding. There is also a fire pit where you can sit around in the evening. Our second stay here and just as good as the first time.

Fantastic Accomodation for any budget. Clean comfortable peaceful and fun - all in one place.

Our stay was perfect, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was very good and plenty, the space to stay outside the room was gorgeous and perfectly kept and, most of all, the staff was always helpful and courteous. All at a reasonable price! It was wonderful to be able to plan our trips without moving from the hotel. I highly recommend it!!! 

A wonderful experience!

It was a shame that no hot water brought this review down from a 5 star. Otherwise I was more than satisfied, but a hot shower was something I was seriously looking forward to after a week of bucket showers.

Very nice place, well located next to a strip mall.Staff was very friendly and helpful.Despite the name, it is a well run hotel!

I strongly recommend this hotel.

Great ambience and service is exceptional

We stayed for a couple nights and everything was perfect. It’s very central, the garden is beautiful and quiet. Wifi at the bar good enough for work calls. Perfect stay!

An amazing place to stay in Livingstone

This is a great hotel. While older, it is extremely clean and maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful (especially Merriam). I appreciated having access to the large grocery store across the street and the nearby restaurants. Highly recommend.
