Phu Quy 2 Hotel

We booked a sea view room & weren't disappointed.  A gorgeous view of the bay both day & night. The rm was spacious, clean & comfy bed. Other reviews complain about the staff but they were very sweet, helpful & spoke good English.  Rooftop pool isn't so great & doesn't look clean.  A much better option is the beach right across the street or Loiusana's that has a pool  ($40,000) for a chair a day, food and drinks.  We didn't bother with breakfast so can't comment on that.  This hotel is close to everything  - an easy walk anywhere.  We would definitely stay here again. 

Been staying here every year since 2011. Last year it was a five (5) week stay. Never once a problem.
I stay here for several reasons.
1) Cleaning + kitchen staff. 
😍😍 Hiep, Kim, yolo and all the other ladies. 
2) Both receptionist lady’s.

3) Close proximity to the beach.
4) Excellent view (Louisiane)
5) Nightly live music (Louisiane)
6) Kim / 10 Sài Gòn..
7) RAMBO, maintenance man. 
8) Amy’s brother / đôi tai 👂🏻👂🏻
And the list goes on. 

A note 📝 to all the critics. 
If you don’t like it, stay home. Or stay at one of those high rise fancy hotels for $200 USD or $4,000,000 VND per night. 
Phu Quy2 has rooms for $20 and up which is more than fair..
For every day you spend in Hawaii, you could spend a month in Nha Trang 
People expect way too much and never want to pay for it. Lol

Incredible view! 

Tet holiday 

The top reason I booked this hotel is the pool at the rooftop. Sadly, the pool did not turn out to be the exact as the picture. The pool water is very cold and looks not tempting to lure me to swim. The Tran Phu beach nearby is much more better. Breakfast was average that consists of Asian Vietnamese foods. There are not much choice. I booked the hotel through Agoda for 3 nights that stated inclusive of complimentary tea and coffee. However, there is none in the room and when I ask the receptionist, he say no coffee in broken English. Felt cheated. Wifi coverage in my room was good and the room is generally quite clean.

Good Location but average breakfast and poor reception service

This hotel has seen it's glory days a very long time ago. The rooms are ok and the location is good (right opposite of the beach). But that's really about it. The breakfast is served without any passion whatsoever and they ofte ran low on it, although it was supposed to be open for another 30-60 mins. The windows doesn't look like they've been cleaned once for the past couple of years. The elevator is extremely slow. Th AC in our room was dripping water. However, what really brings this hotel down is the staff. Their cleaning service left a lot to desire and we found used ear-cleaners, cigarettes and plenty of other trash under our bed. We were also greeted by a roach in our bathroom. Don't be surprised if you find the staff staring down into their phones or slacking in a corner when they are supposed to be working or attending hotel guests. Absolutely one of the worst services I've experienced so far. I'm generous when I give this place 2/5. It should be shut down. Adios, TTYN

Lazy, rude and unresponsive staff

This place was a  nice price and helpful trip to airport plus laundry service and good location for town. 

Didn't like the pool dark green needs cleaning, the picture online was bright blue. Ice cold AC, good water pressure.

Decent Stay for Price. Bad Pool

Staff are rude, whwn i turned up to my room, toilet didnt work shower didnt work, the safe didnt work and then laughed at me when i wanted a refund.
Because i booked it on the same day no refund and i had to pay for abother hotel.
Offered me another room that had the same problems, 3 other guests had to leave also.
Absolute disgrace, the place is filthy dirty and the staff need t9 be replaced.
Have had several trips to Nha Trang and never encountered such disgusting  service and I am very easy going person in general until yousteal from  me which  is what has happened here.
So paid for a room I couldnt use and had to pay for another motel close by.
Really not a pleasant experience on such short  holiday.
Should be shut down until it is gixed and new staff employed and the place is cleaned.
All i wanted was my money back and instead I got ripped off.
Agoda didnt help either so will nevwr use them ever again either.

Do not  stay at this hotel

Plus: good price, near beach, restaurants and park, ok buffet
minus: dark, old dirty room, hard bed, bad bathroom, rude and smoking staff (guard smoked in the lobby many times, they told me to call back after 4 hours when I called them to tell that I have just booked the hotel, the reason was they only received the booking of Agoda after 4 hours, no help, no welcome from receptionist).

The worst, Stay away

My friend and I were very unhappy with our experience with this hotel for many reasons. The staff were unprofessional and unfriendly, the noise outside our room in the morning was unbearable and the general state of the hotel is not great. When you ask the staff a question - it is as if you are asking them to go out of their job description. Breakfast very average. Not a pleasant stay at all.

Unpleasant Experience

Don’t waste your time or money on this place, rooms are overpriced for what you get. I rented a scooter from reception which was a deathtrap, The accelerator cable got stuck and the bike would not stop. The staff wanted nothing to do with the problem. Go somewhere else!

nice location but the cleaning staff are thieves, our last morning there while down for breakfast all 3 rooms were cleaned and stolen from, didn't notice until we arrived ho chi ming city,  BEWARE of the cleaning staff
