It changed it's name to impressive Hotel. Go to find the guy called Zenk, he is very helpful and friendly. Hotel clean, breakfast very good. Every people is friendly. People clean the room everyday. In old city.

Nice hotel.

Budget hotel in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter. Cheap last minute find. Accomodating staff who arranged airport taxi and honoured a late cancellation for one of our nights without hassle. Room was clean and tidy

Good budget hotel

I’ve stayed in a few hotels in Hanoi for the same price and this one far exceeded the others in all areas. The friendly man on reception (called Tan) spoke perfect English and was really helpful on check-in and organised for my bag to be carried up to my room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had free toiletries, good shower and big clean comfy beds. I had some work to do and was happy to find the wifi in my room had over 20mb download speed which was brilliant. The location couldn’t be better, in the heart of the old quarter, a stone’s throw away from loads of brilliant restaurants and one minute walk from the magnificent cathedral. When I had to check out at 5am for an early flight, Tan was brilliant and carried my bag for me and organised an early morning airport taxi for me at a very competitive price. Next time I’m back in Hanoi I will definitely stay here as it was excellent value! Molly (UK)

Great hotel in perfect location

The hotel was dirty and run down. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Better sleeping on the floor. The rooms were small and smelt. The shower was very dirty. 
We were woken up many times through the night as the owners dog was running around and barking all night. We told them in the morning about the dog but they didn't seem to care.
The pictures on there website are nothing like the hotel. I would not stay again. One night was enough

Aweful

You never know what you will get for your money but every so often you find a real gem. So it’s not the Ritz or a modern five star hotel BUT it is comfortable, friendly and clean. The staff are fantastic and the rooms are welcoming and well laid out.

Yes, it can be noisy but that it the charm of the old quarter.

The bathroom is a bathroom. It functions and works. It might not be the best in the world but I have seen far worse bathrooms in 4 and 5 star offerings around the world.

Location wise, the hotel is well placed in the area for easy access to bars, restaurants and cafes.

Well worth the money.
