I booked a room for one night with a friend when we arrived in Hanoi.
I asked in my booking a taxi to pick up us in airport but we still wait it...
when we arrived I asked why nobody comes?
they said "Apologize"
after that we made the check in and we went out to visit the city... five minute after we left, my friend came bask in our room to take his Visa who has forgotten in his back bag.
when he arrived in the room, a women (employee of the hotel for housekeeping) was in the room and searched something in our bags... She looked for money in our luggages... so be careful because employees don't hesitate to still the guest!!!!
After that we called the reception and went in the lobby with the girl, they spoke Vietnamese and they said in English: "She Apologizes for that!" the best joke of the year!!!

after that for the day tomorrow I paid a driver to bring to the airport at 6am. they gave me a meeting at 5.30AM in the lobby. I arrived on time at the meeting point with my luggage and the receptionist slept... I asked my driver.... he said sorry I call!
a taxi arrived 15 minutes later and i arrived late at the airport with one quater late.
SO I can't recommend this hostel because it's not serious, and expensive for that!!
the only thing we appreciate is the SPA with the good professionnal massage.

Unserious hostel

We booked this for a replacement hotel after the first one was terrible. Arrived at about 9.30pm. The hotel closed down months ago but is still taking bookings! Scam alert. There isn't a hotel there now, just a residential block that's closed off.
AVOID

WARNING- Does not exist anymore

We loved Vietnam and Hanoi, but this hotel was absolutely the worst experience in Vietnam of our 4 weeks travelling. We stayed at hotels for less than $7, but this ($17) was the worst. Cockroaches as big as my thump crawling through the rooms and a really incompetent, rude, angry 'manager' who has no idea of customerservice. He tried several times to let us pay again. Started yelling and threatening me and my girlfriend. Conclusion: Do not ever go here!

During our 3 months tour through Indochina this has surely been the worst place we've stayed in. Totally run-down hotel, dirty, unfriendly and totally disinterested staff. It's a darn cheek even for the price of $20 - you'll find far better accommodations for less around Hanoi!

Go somewhere else...

This Hotel is falling apart, the room is increadibly dirty, cockroaches are warmly welcoming you upon arrival. 

Mold is everywhere, there is a bottle of wine on the table with a glass that is disgustingly dirty.

They didn't even remove the old cockroaches in the bathroom that were already dead. 

The manager seems to comment on reviewers posting pictures from INSIDE their room accusing them of never having been guests in his Hotel, it's just embarrassing!
