The only good thing about this hotel is its location close to the amusement park, restaurants and seafront. Everything else is terrible. The staff are unfriendly hostile and most cannot speak English. The breakfast is awful and has little variety, stone cold coffee that tastes awful. This is the only hotel we stayed in Vietnam that does not provide free water or coffee in the room.  The room is smelly, the curtains are filthy and the bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Room service are non existent. The lobby areas stink of cigarette smoke to add to the general air of gloom and griminess that hangs over this hotel. My advice would be to avoid this hotel at all costs. The worst hotel we stayed in during our two weeks in Vietnam.

Avoid this hotel

Probably hotel with the great potential in Ha long Bay. Nice view, relatively clean and new hotel just 20-30 meters from the water. However, the hotel staff are TERRIBLE !!! They do not speak English, they do not accept credit cards, they want to charge toll free phone calls like regular calls, they made our room before the check out time (I couldn't even use the toilet after that), they do not have any info about the local trips or any brochure. Someone called me by phone in the middle of the night and woke up me and my wife. Staff and other guest are very loud even early in the morning, that I couldn't sleep....As I said terrible service. They didn't want to give our passports back to us before we paid fro the room by cash !!! Think twice before you  book this hotel.
