Check Tom Shane that just show too we picked this hotel because we shared it before and had excellent accommodations this time we were doing a trip back home and decided to shop off for the night room a little bit more comfortable we were smart enough to bring our own pillows and a blanket this time because of how they were best or comfortable only downfall is there was no luck on the door we have a little likes to open door so we had to put something in front of the door to tenant he said he would work on it to look like you’ve been upgrading the rooms a little bit that we would most definitely stay here again this place is close to everything

Awesome place

Horrible place to stay. I've stayed at probably 25 different Motel 6 properties, and this one is bottom 3 in every category. Take one look at the bathroom and ask yourself what you'd want to do in there. Just a horrible property. No one should be allowed to rent a room like this in good conscience.

One of the WORST properties you can stay at.

this was the most money that I paid for a Motel 6, and the absolutely most disgusting and unsafe and unclean motel room I’ve ever stayed in. too bad I didn’t get a picture of the towels that they hung. It literally looked like somebody wiped mud down the front of it. when I took it to the front desk he didn’t even apologize. He just got more towels did not say one word. There also was no toilet paper, air blowing through the door jam that was ripped off with the nails still in and propped up in the corner of the room. So, after driving 8 hours that day this is what my money got me.
It posed a health risk because there was mold on the plastic housing for the AC unit. Meaning, it would just be blowing mold at you. I have a mold allergy. You can see in the photos. I paid cash for this room and he did not give me a receipt. If I had one, I would’ve asked the corporate office for a refund. There was also a loud road crew staying there, hanging out outside drinking, in their cars, etc. It was nerve-racking to stay there not safe not restful. An apology would be insufficient. 

The WORST 

My favorite go to motel when i'm in Salem. It is very economical, The staff is very friendly and  good to assist you with any questions you may have. The rooms are absolutely spotless. No nasty carpets àll tile and laminate flooring. They are pet friendly with no extra fees for my cat. It's quiet and conveniently to everything you need. It's right off I81. As a woman traveling alone I feel safe here.

My favorite go to motel in Salem.

Horrible hotel!! Shower water ran all night, floor sinking in, old towels and bedding.  The mattresses are the worse.  Do not stay there!!! The folks at the front were rude to begin with at check in. 

Miserable stay

First off, look at the price and you will see this is not the Hilton. BUT what it IS, beds were comfortable, the room was semi clean and the bathroom worked. It was an emergency stop for our family and they went above in getting us a rooms, making sure everything went smoothly and working with us when we needed an extra night. 
It is dated, but it is also a great location to be close to things. It was surprisingly quiet to be right next to the road. 
My family can't thank y'all enough. 

We would stay again. 

I stayed here recently. The room was nice. It had a Jacuzzi in the room but it was not working but I was not going to use it anyway. The attendant remembered my senior discount and the price was good for being a Saturday night.

Nice Place

The person working at the front desk was very unfriendly, I don’t know if he was the owner or just a clerk. Customer service is customer service. So I get to my room and it has the old-style heater/air conditioner in my unit looks like it’s falling apart the plastic is actually coming apart. I put it on high heat, my breath was warmer than the high heat that was coming out after an hour, by the next morning which was roughly about eight or nine hours the room was almost tolerable.
  There was a table with two small chairs in front of the heater I actually placed them in front of the door because security is definitely not an important at this establishment. The windows are somewhat of a vulnerability however, when the door has a little sign on it that says for your safety engage the door bar and then the door bar has obviously been broken as the ball was missing for the bar to lock on the door.   This is about a five or 10 minute repair at the most, I think it’s four screws, bathroom was ok and shower and toilet ok.
  If the door was fixed and the person that checked me in have a little bit better demeanor I might think about coming back here again because I do a lot of fishing on the weekends in that area. However it’s doubtful that I will return, I can’t sleep wondering if somebody could break into the room while I was asleep and I would never know. I shouldn’t have to stack all the furniture in front of the door to make sure the room is somewhat secure.
  A little bit of basic maintenance would’ve gone a long way, no excuse

Unkept and possibly unsafe

Worst room I’ve ever stayed in and I travel a lot. The sheets were dirty there was hair on the bed the floor squeaked just terrible. I would not recommend anybody staying here the key didn’t work I had to switch rooms the air conditioner did not work just a very bad experience

Dirty

Clean room and very helpful Staff. Khushi the manager and Patrick the maintenance man have been AWESOME. I plan on staying for awhile as I am in town for Business. The rooms are large and well equipped. The house keeping staff are AWESOME also.
