We just stayed at Aqua for 8 days and what a disappointment. We will never stay there again. The beach service people are intolerable, they forced us to set up our canopy past the ambassador hotel next door OR behind their wave runners. Why would any complex think people want chairs to take up the whole water line of the beach?  They harassed us every day and even though we set up at 6am, they set up chairs behind  our canopy and put signs up making it look like we were the jerks setting up in front of their chairs. We had to call code enforcement on them because they put a locked metal cord across the sand trail next to the building. Immature and unprofessional. 
 The parking deck ice machine never worked, nor did our fridge ice maker so we had to go to the liquor store down the street to get ice every day. The hot tub never worked properly, we saw people get chemical burns!! The balconies are weird and face another balcony, kinda awkward if you are just trying to sit out and look at the water. We had a very large group of 6 condos and all were very worn and in need of updates. Aqua used to be the best of the best, too bad it wasn’t maintained.

5 years difference = not good

Hotel is very good, staff is very friendly and helpful. Front managers are very helpful. We did few activities from SAVAS  he was always there to explain everything and answer all questions. We booked ship,  pink jeep safari and visit to Pamukkale. All were brilliant, kids enjoyed themselves and we also. Next year we definitely come back.

We booked our 3 excursion from savas we all had a brilliant time the experience on the Safari jeeps was a brilliant and the day the boat trip was amazing the quad were fun too 😁 great price for your money

The hotel is fab, Savas our holiday assistant is always available in the lobby. We went on a tour to the Zoo and canyon boat trip, well what a day, unbelievable fun. 

Definitely be back next year in 2024..

Best excursions..

This  is a very nice resort, however the security guards are ridiculous and more then rude. My kids were playing with a ball no more than 10 feet from each other not disturbing any other swimmers and the security told us there are no balls allowed in the pool and was very rude about saying it. So we followed te rules and stopped playing and set them on the did e of the pool. We then decided to get out of the pool and my son went to get the balls on the side of the pool to take with us back down to the beach, this is when the security guard got on to my son and said there are no balls allowed in the pool, I already told you once. I immediately confronted the security guard and told him he needed to stop that was my son and we are getting out of the pool and we are taking the balls with us. He was rude to me and said I don’t care that is the rules. I told him he has to be able to grab them and get out, I told him at that point he needs to stop talking or this was going to result in a situation he didn’t want to happen as I was going to speak with management. I then called the front desk and they told me they are not responsible for the security at the resort that goes through th home owners association manager. Seriously you can’t address a rude security guard. I have stayed here multiple times but this is the first time we were so rudely disrespected! If you want people monitoring your every move this is the place if you want a nice family vacation look else where.

Will never stay or recommend Aqua. 711 claims to sleep 8 but when we alerted Arnov management to the broken pull out couch and trundle bed they advised us we could sleep three to a bed (5 adults and 2 kids) or they could provide an air mattress. After one night myself, husband and son left and got a room at another hotel because the three of us cannot share a bed and I was not letting my mom sleep on an air mattress. We asked for a partial refund and after three days Robin with Arnov called me and let me know they could refund $400 (not even enough to cover two nights with Aqua much less the other hotel during fall break!) She kept cutting me off while on the phone and would not come to the room to speak with me in person. While at the pool my mom also witnessed an Arnov staff member tell an elderly couple to “go back in, you’re looking a little crispy”. They were offended to say the least. The view and the weather were great but not much else.

Aqua 711 October 2022

We stayed in Aqua 707 condo and LOVED the experience! Great location near Pier Park, walkable to shops and restaurants. Cool updated condo with a mid-century vibe. It was great to have a full kitchen and private ocean front balcony. We saved so much $$ by having a kitchen with amazing beach views for meals. The building is very nice and well cared for, beach chairs were included with our vacation (a $450 value). We booked direct and saved on extra fees.

Perfect for a Beach Vacation - Beautiful Condo

Do not stay here! Never again will I stay here. There is a helicopter tour company right across the street! I'm not exaggerating when I say that these helicopters fly right in front of the building every 10 minutes from 10am to about 7pm every single day! 

It's incredibly loud, annoying, distracting, and inconsiderate. Whoever took a bribe to give these jackasses a permit to fly helicopters right here should be fired into the sun. They are 100% costing these units to lose repeat business.

There is no chance in hell that I will ever stay anywhere near this area again. To top it all off, there have been what sound like drag races on the busy street right in front of the hotel every night.

I have no idea wtf the cops do in this town or if they even exist. Until 1am there were ***holes revving their engines and racing each other. Probably every 5-10 minutes you could clearly hear multiple people doing burnouts and speeding. And this is from inside the condo in the living room.

Absolutely terrible experience all around. If you stay here without knowing about the helicopters, then you have my sympathy. Those tour companies single handedly destroy every bit of the beach experience all day long. 

It got to the point where I didn't even want to sit on the balcony anymore or spend that much time on the actual beach. They are loud to the point where you cannot talk to or hear each other when they are passing by. And this is all day long every day! I seriously don't think I can express how loud and annoying they are. I'm not exaggerating. Stay away from this area.

Nice unit, but everything else sucks

Note: We have come to PCB almost every year for the past 15 years and have stayed in many condos. This is only my 2nd negative review. I always make reviews because I rely on them myself. Aqua unit 811 booked through Blue Swell (7 nights $2879.09)-admittedly this was a last minute trip.
Things you should know:
1. Be ready to read and understand a VERY LENGTHY rental agreement - bottom line, YOU are responsible for everything. We were given an early check-in option at 12:30 for an additional $75.  We arrived at 3:30 (check in 4:00) and got early access for no additional charge. 
2. Kitchen is well equipped and they provide plenty of bath towels.
3. Unit is spacious with open floor plan and was clean upon arrival. I would probably put a smaller table and chairs for more room but just my opinion.
4. It is a back corner unit so you are not overlooking pool.  Your full beach view is blocked on the east by a large concrete wall and on the west by a new Hyatt Place hotel.  So the view is limited to what is directly in front of you. The balcony does wrap around to a side view of the new Hyatt Place and Front Beach Road where the helicopters land and view of sky wheel at pier park. This also means you hear all the music, engines, etc during peak cruising times. The furniture on balcony is wicker with a couple of pieces broken. 
5. The balcony locks do not work/are broken as well as the front door deadbolt. You have a hotel swing lock and keypad as secure front door.  Speaking of front door, it will not close on its own.  You must pull/push very hard. 
6. Unit does not sleep 8 unless you bring a blow up bed.  The pull out sofa has zero padding and you sleep on the metal bars.  It is not sleepable in any way. 
7. Let’s talk A/C- if you like your unit colder than 75, do not come here.  The AC does not get cooler than that and it does not blow adequately in to the bedrooms at all-the bunk beds are like heat boxes.  There are overhead fans in both bedrooms but we had to buy additional table top fans to sleep.  When reported to Blue Swell, here was the response: “Hi Katherine,We suggest that you keep your AC unit set at 75 at all times. If your unit goes over 75 and you are having issues getting it back to 75 please let us know.”
8. Broken items were all reported to mgmt on first day (closet doors, refrigerator drawer, oven light, locks, blinds) with no response. 
9. Aqua resort: pool area is very nice but management does not keep the pools clean .  The beach chair rentals are the white plastic with blue cushion chairs or cloth folding chairs (with umbrella of course).  A set of elevators were broken every day (rotated from one side to next)! There are two sets of elevators-this unit has easy access to the far right elevators (when they work). Parking was easy and you can park golf carts overnight in basement level.  Plenty of luggage carts upon arrival. Centrally located to walk to pier park (west) or sharkys (east).
10. Be prepared that Blue Swell emails you immediately upon your stay asking for a 5 star review: “If you have a moment, it would mean the world to us if you'd leave us a 5 star reveiw on our Google page.  If you send a screenshot of your 5 star review to stay@blueswell.com, we'll enter you for a chance to win a free stay.”

Aqua Resort Unit 811

This complex is poorly managed and we had constant electric and AC issues which were affecting the whole building. There is no onsite management, and when the electricity went out (3 times in 1 week) there was nobody to call because their phones go down and there no manager on premise. 

There was an elevator broken the entire time, no security presence whatsoever so people freely entered and used the facilities that were not staying there.  

They did agree to a partial refund but there is nothing relaxing about a beach vacay when these stressful events happen.
