Very basic, bargain price for adequate room.   Desk has no lamp or chair, no luggage rack.  Pool filled in - grass now.   Fridge, microwave, coffee pot (no coffee).   Tiny bar of soap, nothing more.  Bed frame protrudes from mattress and I banged my knee, so  watch out.  In broad daylight, I was not permitted inside the lobby but had to register outside and speak through a speaker to the agent inside.  Would I stay here again?  Absolutely.  Great price if you just need a comfortable place to sleep and shower with no frills.  A real plus is a family-operated restaurant next door that features wonderful home cooking,  great variety, and great prices.

Great Price - No Frills - I'll Stay Here Again!

I wish I took improved photos but it didn’t come to mind. Don’t judge it’s book by its cover. The whole inside layout is brand new and had a amazing experience, helpful and friendly owners. 10/10 will definitely want to stay again.

The new ownership turned the place around 10/10

When we got there the room was 50.00 as advertised 
But they wanted a 100.00 cash deposit 
You have got to be kidding me

I couldn’t believe she told me that and then her husband came in and repeated it so we left. Thank goodness there was no cancellation fee


Hotel 

I've stayed here twice. This is a cheap hotel, so you get what you pay for, but I had a good experience both times. The rooms are very basic, but they seemed clean and other than the TVs being a little grainy, everything worked OK. I remember there were a few little smudges or dings on the walls, but they seemed to be the kind of thing that comes with a room being old vs. housekeeping slacking off. There are a number of good mom and pop restaurants within walking distance, and the neighborhood felt safe. The motel seemed pretty calm both times and I didn't notice any rowdy or sketchy guests. The staff was nice and came immediately when the fire alarm ran out of batteries in one of my rooms. The one thing I didn't like is that the air conditioners/heaters are all or nothing; on one of my stays it was 20 degrees out and even on the low setting, we alternated between freezing and roasting.

Good experience, but no frills

We have been travelling across America on route 66 and stayed in many hotels of similar price and this was by far the worst!!! The room was dirty and had a weird odour with stained furniture and an uncomfortable bed!!! Will never stay here again!! 

STAY AWAY!!!!

I don't know how this hotel has as many positive reviews as it does. Not realizing after I booked my room I didn't read through the reviews but it was too late, I found reports of bed bugs roaches and to make things even more unsettling when I looked out the window of my hotel room there were 2 .22 caliber bullet holes in the window. I took a shower pack my bags and left don't waste your time with this crap hotel, and for them to charge $50 for a stay is absolutely ridiculous go to a nicer chain such as extended-stay and get a room for about 10 bucks more that you know it's going to be nice and not infested with roaches or bedbugs.
