This is the best value for the money in Miami.  It is easy to get to on public transportation from the Miami or Ft. Lauderdale airports.  The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area too.  There are several markets and small restaurants within a 10 minute walking distance.  Getting to Miami Beach on public transportation is easy from there and takes about 30 to 45 minutes on the bus with 1 transfer.  I love this hotel and there is no place in Miami that competes with it for value and location.  One last thing, the view of downtown Miami from the roof at night is unbeatable and guests are free to go up and sit, talk and view Miami as it gleams and shines all night long.

Jefferson (Little Havana)

Pictures are deceiving. These pictures must of been taken when they first posted the facility up. 

We rented the 4bdrm “suite” with 2 bathrooms. Our flight landed at 6:30pm and we arrived at 8:30pm to meet the guy to check-in.

He showed us how to use the lock combination (there is no key to enter or exit the facility). He showed the rooms quickly and I gave him our payment. I noticed the rooms weren’t as pictured and it looks as if they posted several pictures of their other facilities and one or 2 rooms of this facility.

From doing the walk through the facility looked okay. Our family was hungry so we put our luggage’s away and went to eat. When we returned and got ready to go to bed we looked closer and noticed more and more stuff that was not clean.

The sides of the toilet had old pee and hairs. Mildew begins the bathroom door. I always check the mattresses and every single mattress bed had a stain. Not something small or looked as if they tried to clean it. The master bed looked as if someone threw up and never cleaned it. THESE STAINS LOOKED AS IF THEY LET IT SIT AND DIDN’T CLEAN IT! Our kids feet were BLACK even after they had showered.

We called around 11:15pm same day to complain and see if could get our refund for the last day. I told them I didn’t care if they kept the first day deposit but to give me my 2nd day payment as we were NOT staying. 

The man was rude and said he couldn’t do anything for us that he only handled the check in and out. We asked if he could contact the manager who owns the facility he said they were closed and we would have to call back in the morning. He hung up on us and we tried calling back and got no answer.

We left at 12:14am. We called the office the next morning and spoke to a woman and told her our situation and she was very dismissive and asked why we took so long to call after checking into the apartment( it was only 3 hours). She said she could of offered another facility BUT we needed a facility that night and the office was closed and the guy did not offer another facility and wouldn’t answer his phone!

We asked her for her office location and they do not have one. The woman asked why we didn’t call sooner and we explained we got there for 8:30pm and by the time we unpacked, ate and showered to get the kids ready for bed we checked the bed and saw all the stains. 

She stated they have cleaners come in and  we told her they did not do a very good job or do it at all. She wanted proof to send her pictures in which I did. She has yet to help us. ITS A SCAM!



NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OR CLEAN FACILITY!!

I stayed here for a weekend ansd the location is good and only about four or five blocks to the heart of South Beach at 9th and Ocean Drive. We wanted to upgrade as soon as we got there because the unit needs a serious upgrade the furniture was very old, Gum was on the sofa bed, saw  few bugs, and the shower liner had mold/mildew on it so we showered in our flip flops. It was not up to our living standard. Ricardo was cool and helped with what he could. The window AC units were very dusty. I booked this the day before I checked in it was a last resort. The unit has parking spaces but they charged us $15 a day for parking when its on a residential street an it was there driveway. On the day of checkout after I landed back home I received a text message from the manager who accused us of us taking two tables that were at least 30 years and the owner would want to get the police involved and sent a picture of someone carrying what looked like a small cooler but we were accused a stealing a 2 big old tables. So the manager later said he found a table and would replace it in exchange for a 5-star rating but this place is nothing near a five-star in any fashion so I would never say it is.  I will post the gum and bug videos later.

Good Location and thats about all that was goodneed to be updated and kept cleaner.

Bed bugs. All mattresses and sofa were full of bed bugs. It looks like it was not new since we found plenty of cadavers under the bed and blood stains on the mattresses. So the cleaning is only superficial. It is hard to believe they did not know about the bugs.
Since we found that on a Friday evening, the manager did not wanted to send a housecleaner neither relocated us. Ricardo, the employee was very kind but nothing except bringing new sheets was done. No discount was offered neither keeping our luggages for the day of the check-out since we only left late in the evening. 

However, the apartment is very nice, very well located, with parking slots. It has a nice backyard to enjoy breakfast and drinks. Ricardo the employee was very friendly and available whenever we needed help (wifi issue, bugs). The pressure of the shower is low and could be improved.

We had a lovely stay here over the Christmas period. Very centrally located. Slightly noisy at night as the windows are not brilliant. We had an issue with the drains but Zoila sorted it quickly. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Very cool place, family style, garden like at home. Helpful and friendly staff, comfortable beds and very clean, cozy atmosphere with all amenities you can expect.Details all around like the outdoors shower , really useful when we came from the beach.Ideal place near everything, shops, fashion places and the beach. I'll be back!
