Absolutely a gem of a place, Paul is a fantastic host, attentative and serving a real hearty breakfast and sharing much knowledge of places to visit in the area. Very comfy bed and a quiet place to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. Great location for many local historic places of interest and quaint villages along with easy access to the Dorset coast. Welcome apple cake and cuppa in the garden was delicious. House has great history and lovingly restored, was a delight to experience this stay.

Great stay for a few days

My wife and I recently stayed with another couple for a couple of nights and all of us agreed that we could not find any fault with our stay. The rooms are all well equipped, lovely and clean with little touches such as fresh milk, water and chocolates.
The breakfast was excellent with fruit, cereals, yoghurts, toast, a choice of preserves and the cooked part made to order and well cooked and presented.
A lovely location, a beautiful house and a great host, well done Paul.

Excellent B&B highly recommended

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely B&B.    Everything about it was just perfect, Paul is an excellent host, room was spacious and everything so clean, breakfast was amazing  - would definitely book this again when we are in this beautiful area.

Superb

Probably one of the best places we have stayed in.
The room was well equipped and extremely cosy.
We were greeted with some home made apple cake which was absolutely delicious.
Paul the proprietor was friendly and knowledgeable about places to visit.
The breakfast was amazing too.
Loved every minute of our stay.

Perfect guest house.

A perfect 2 night stay in this stylish B&B which I would happily revisit. Welcoming host, spotlessly clean and first class attention to detail. The bed was very firm, however a minor point which is down to personal preference. Breakfast fantastic selection of fresh fruit and juices with the full English cooked expertly on demand. Highly recommend!

Fantastic B&B

With my job I travel all around the south of England and Wales. Stayed in lots of B&B,Hotels etc, The Quiet Woman house is the only place I have awarded a five star because everything was brilliant the own Paul very friendly,food superb,room very ,very nice and location was ideal for the wedding we attended at Mappington house. If you are looking for somewhere to stay at a good price in Dorset I would highly recommend this B&B

First class B&B

The Quiet Woman is a very special B&B.  Paul, who runs it is incredibly attentive.  The rooms are immaculate and extremely comfortable and the showers are great.

Breakfasts are generous and well cooked, using locally sourced produce.

An overall great experience.

Making a shortt stay very special

We were visiting family in Yeovil and the Quiet Woman House is close enough by car to visit them or to buy anything we needed.

Paul, the owner was fantastic. I have food intolerances (dairy & soya intolerant) and Paul made sure that any dietary alternatives were available for me - just contact him directly if you have queries. Our room was spotlessly clean and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful as well 😋 

The only tiny thing I would suggest to be improved would be the traditional door latch to bathroom door in our room, it was noisy when opening the door and if someone got up during the night to use the toilet, opening the door latch may dusturb the other person sleeping in bed, we just learned to close the door to and it was fine.  

But to be honest,  this minor thing wouldn't put us off booking with Paul again, the advantages of The Quiet Woman House far weight out a noisy door handle!

Beautiful B&B, great host

The best B&B we have stayed in. Five star rating in all aspects of this wonderful place. If you want a peaceful, quiet place to stay this the place to go. Lots of interesting places to visit within easy reach.
