Hotel has a very unsettling vibe with unprofessional staff. Everything feels poorly organised and more like a stay at a strangers house than a hotel. Lots of shouting and running around in hallways. Room quality is terrible. Dirty, old and very uncomfortable. No plugs in rooms despite a tv hanging from the wall, with nowhere to plug it in? The lock on the door didn’t work well and the feeling of being unsafe at the hotel meant I chose to check out and leave.

I dont think ive ever stayed anywhere quite like this! The reception area is revolting, check in was weird, they are cash or bank transfer only which is suspicious. The bank transfer account was a personal bank account not a business bank account which screams tax evasion.The room next to ours was a dining room with just junk everywhere. Room was basic, not the cleanest carpet. Beds were fine, location was questionable. Shower nice and fine. Paper thin walls and lots of windows with no curtains meant you couldnt make it very dark.

Faulty Towers eat your heart out

This place is a complete mess!  Beyond being dates, it has rubbish throughout and has an unpleasant smell. I would avoid! Room I am in has a TV but there is no outlet to plug it into. Shower has mold. Dirty mirrors and other items throughout. Hard to find anything positive to say about the place.

It is a Dump - Avoid!

The worst hotel I’ve been to. I’ve never written a review but felt this deserved a review. The reception area was hugely dated, dirty and there was no reception staff available to help us check in. There was a lady in reception who appeared to be living on the sofas all weekend downstairs who didn’t work there. Our room was upstairs top level it had no bathroom and the shared bathroom was not useable. There was a radiator in the bath! Bed sheets etc seemed clean but pillows were super thin. There were random rooms which were empty and dirty on our floor. We tried to complain when we left but non of the staff spoke English.

Do not book

Yes the reception is a bit dated but who cares, the rooms are lovely and the manager is amazing !! We have stayed here 4 out of the last 5 weeks. This is our new home from home, great prices , great location and staff who go above and beyond. If you want great value for money then this is the place to book, very child friendly even with my hard to manage 7yr old who has ADHD. Can't praise this place enough

Fab find for families

Check in was good in fact - young bloke at reception even carried a bag up to my room, which was much appreciated. The staff I've seen here have been mostly friendly and polite.But the room, while clean, is rubbish! Bedside light doesn't work at all (mounted on the wall behind the bed); only ONE electricity socket in the whole room, so can't watch TV and charge my phone etc.; TV only works on internet streaming, which is VERY laggy, so the TV keeps stopping and starting; internet very slow; NO phone signal at all in the room; towel, folded and on top of the bed, was DAMP; bed noisy (not yet tried to sleep in it); bunch of people sitting in the area at the front of the place when I arrived at 5.30pm drinking, noisy, and still noisy late, window would not close, leaving a gap at the top, so the noise and cold gets into the room, and the window rattled annoyingly in the wind.I won't be back.

Was a hostel for people with no homes , not welcoming staff what do ever Had to listen do some nasty woman having sex all night and doors opening and closing all night long

Sea view was spectacular. Recently decorated and very clean. We were on the third floor and the lift was not working. My 79 year old husband struggled with this. When i asked about breakfast, I was informed that they were serving breakfast next week.

First impressions of this hotel were not good, the entrance had bins full of rubbish, dirty ashtrays and rubbish in the flower beds, the reception area is dreadful, dirty unhoovered carpets dark smelly and dated. (there was a depressed drunk woman sat on the sofa watching TV) who said she didn't know where the man was but he wouldn't be long when I said we wanted to check in(this was the only member of staff we saw at the hotel).
At this point we nearly went home (another couple didn't even look at their room) but we decided to see what our room was like before deciding as we didn't want to upset our 8 year old daughter.
To our surprise our room was pretty clean and a really good size, beds were clean and comfortable.
We had a great view too.
The downside to the room was there were no curtains up at the kitchen area so the bedroom had no privacy and the room was very hot with little ventilation. 
Apart from that we had forks in the coffee cups in place of teaspoons and what seemed to be a hurd of elephants move in above us at 4am, we gave it a chance, we would not return, it's a shame as the location is great!!

Avoid at all Costs. 
Photographs do not reflect the actuality. They claim to be refurbishing but in reality it resembled a down at heel hostel.
They do NOT offer any meals or drinks apart from bottled water in the room. Room had only one socket and  multiple extension cables. WET towels on the bed (I have to assume they were freshly laundered!) Two steps up into the corridor bathroom (looked like a partition wall had been erected behind the bed) NO LIGHT in the bathroom and NO bedside tables or lamps. Had the pay CASH as they claimed the reader was faulty and had been returned the previous day. However when we returned home and did a more detailed search online it would seem the card reader had be 'faulty' for some time! Asked for a refund and they retained £65. They did not offer, or give any receipts  either paper or electronically
