Stayed one night on a business trip. I would have loved to have stayed longer. The room was spotless with everything you could want or need. The Breakfast was gorgeous complemented by South African Crumpets made by the lovely Dixie. Thank you for the hospitality and very friendly welcome.

Absolutely gorgeous place and lovely owners.

Greeted enthusiastically by the lovely Dixie and husband John, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay (wished it could have been longer). A highly professional chef, served perfect breakfasts and with additional treats of South African crumpets (similar to but larger and more delicious than scotch pancakes). Very comforable room, spacious and spotlessly clean, with a super view of the lovely village and pub nearby.. Also a gem recommended by Dixie. All above and beyond hopes and expectations.. A little off the normal Cornish tracks, but still a great base for exploring a lovely county. A definite return planned for the future.. Thanks Dixie and John... 100%👍👍

Verily perfect Veryan Guest House

After an exhausting eight hour drive, being greeted by Dixie was the perfect tonic. A wonderful lady, friendly, professional and full of grace. Her home and B&B, Treverbyn House is spotless; the twin room we had is outstanding. A quiet home to stay in and a super host to make us feel welcome. Although we skipped the full English breakfast (too full from the night before), observing another table, it did look delicious. That said, Dixie's homemade crumpets went down a treat. Thank you, Dixie, and to your hubby. You both made us feel very welcome and relaxed.

Exceeded my expectations 😁

Dixey & John made us feel very welcome on our 1st & now 2nd visit to their tradition b&b. It was pouring with rain on our arrival and John was straight out with an umbrella 🌂to protect us from the rain 🌧and carry in our begs.

The twin room was very clean and tidy as was the en-suite and spacious with shower over the bath. There were tea and coffee options plus hot chocolate 🍫and border biscuits in the room too which was very welcoming after our long journey from Scotland!

The breakfast was beautifully made and you can choose your options the night before. Also Dixey makes amazing South African pancakes every morning 🌄which are delicious!

We stayed for 4 nights (3 the first time) and had an amazing time. Dixey and John are very professional and welcoming.  Nothing is too much trouble.  We will definitely be staying again and can't wait!!

Hidden gem Tryverbyn B&B Veryan

Simply superb holiday let, very well appointed, good situation for exploring the surrounding area.  House is full of charm, comfortable beds, great kitchen, relaxing lounge and you cannot beat a log burner on the chillier evenings.  All the little bits and bobs have been thought out, even down to some crabbing sets for the kids.  Leaving this gem of a place was hard, and that for me is the sign of a good holiday.  If I can vist again I will.

One of the best holiday rentals

We stayed at this B&B for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is amazing and we particularly appreciated the flapjacks Dixie gave us to take on our walks. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we all slept very soundly. The B&B is very well situated to access all of the Roseland peninsula and a 1 minute stroll to the New Inn for dinner. Thank you Dixie and John for looking after us so well!

Home from home

We have just spent a great couple of days in Padstow.  We were staying at Treverbyn House B&B and will definitely be returning.  The rooms were spacious and light, tastefully decorated in keeping with the house, and lovely comfy bed!  Large airy bathroom with bath and shower.  Gary was very friendly and welcoming and we were given useful info on Padstow, which is literally a 2 minute walk.  Breakfast was VERY good, with a choice to suit everyone.  I though this was probably the best B&B we've stayed in.  Fantastic Gary! See you next year!

Excellent B&B

My wife and I are walkers.  That was a tough day on the South West Coast Path.  Not just the ups and downs, but the persistent rain.  We arrived in Veryan soaked and tired, after taking the shortcut from the path up through a never-ending field.  As soon as we entered the small town, we began to feel better; and we were exceedingly pleased to ring the bell at this B and B.  Sally greeted us warmly, appropriately sympathetic to our physical state.  Indeed, she insisted that we should allow her to wash our clothes.  We finally agreed when she agreed to modest compensation.  We loved the room, the bathroom, the breakfast room.  Sally made reservations for us at the local pub that was just down the hill...and we eventually felt human again.  This is the magic that happens when your host has such a lovely place, and when your host's personality seems to suitabable to the situation.  Great people.  Great place to stay, even if you aren't walking.

Everything about this place is perfect and the hosts Tim and Heather go out of their way to make sure that their guests are well catered for.
Breakfast was excellent as were the rooms.
Everything is spotlessly clean.
Both hosts give freely of their time to offer advice and even book the local restaurant/pub for our evening meal and a good job they did as it was packed!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay

Our hosts Tim & Sally provided an exceptional, friendly and warm stay.  More like staying in a private home, every detail is looked after.  Veryan is a quiet village well located on the Roseland Peninsula, close to beaches and great walking locations. 10 out of 10!
