Stayed two nights while in Tiverton for a visit to the house we're purchasing there.
Howden House is located down a rural country lane in a tranquil spot with amazing views.
On arrival we were greeted by Martin and Louise who were delightful and welcoming, as was the cup of tea offered when we stepped in the door.
We stayed in the Rose bedroom,  a very comfy twin bedded room. Spacious and spotless, comfy beds, nice en suite bathroom, wonderful countryside views were a bonus.
Room was well equipped, lots of drawer and wardrobe space.
Breakfast was plentiful and served in  beautiful dining room.
Martin and Louise are a fount of local knowledge and the pub recommended on our second night did not disappoint.
Would highly recommend Howden House to anyone visiting get this lovely area.
Thank you Martin and Louise for a really relaxing stay, it was like visiting friends!

Lovely hosts, cosy spotless room, a gem!

Stayed for 2 nights for family wedding. Hosts were very hospitable,  hot drink and scummy cookies on arrival,  with suggestions of where to go for evening meal.

Wished we could have stayed longer, room was lovely, comfortable bed , room had gorgeous view to wake up to,  we stayed in the " wisteria room " 

We will definitely choose here to stay when next in Devon

Wonderful stay

Fabulous B&B, Louise and Martin were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. The area was nice and quiet and only a short walk into town, highly recommend The Ganges if you like Indian cuisine . Room was clean, comfortable and the view was amazing. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

Superb

Having finally found the correct, very narrow and unmarked, track (after turning round in the forecourt of a bungalow first - not the fault of the excellent directions but of a tired driver trying to navigate in the dark and pouring rain) we arrived to a very kind and pleasant welcome, complete with umbrella.  Our room was extremely comfortable, very good bathroom with masses of hot water, and daylight revealed a glorious view across the garden and the valley to the hills beyond.  Martin could not have been more helpful;  we had a delicious breakfast, and we very much hope to be able to stay at Howden House again the future.

Peaceful and entirely comfortable

A lovely B&B! We received a very warm welcome from the hosts of Howden House, and made to feel at home instantly. Our room was clean and very comfortable, with lovely views over the valley. We enjoyed a good full English breakfast with good quality ingredients. Wish we could have stayed for longer!
